The hostel is managed by a Chief Warden and a team of wardens. It is mandatory for all residents to join the mess, which operates on a fixed schedule and is closed after lunch on Saturdays for maintenance. Mess timings are strictly enforced. Rooms are shared by 2 to 3 students, and there are reported issues with basic amenities like clean drinking water, bathrooms, and consistent electricity supply. Despite the lower fees compared to other colleges, students are monitored 24/7, and the hostel provides a secure environment. Alternatives like PG accommodations in Srinagar offer better conditions for study and recreation, with additional bus services available.
