Likes

Beautiful College and surrounded with trees and positive atmosphere
This college is a Great place to learn,live and grow.

Dislikes

Strictness and some unnecessary rules for girls
Not that much importance for Extracurricular activities

Placement Experience:

Placements assistance will be provided from the seventh semester of the final year.Students will be provided career and work readiness classes,skill improvement workshops.50% students got placed through college placement.Highest package was 2.4 lpa.Every department got placements.The college also helps for the higher studies.

My college Pros and Cons

Likes

Mostly the campus environment and atmosphere throughout the college is very pleasant and immaculate.
Also the non teaching staff are really friendly and hard working, the teachers too are friendly.

Dislikes

Lack of programs and activities we have to beg the ceo in order to get some kind of programs which is really upsetting
Lack of sports and outdoor activities, when i came in here i used to play kabaddi in state level i was hoping “yeah its an engineering college it definitely would have a kabaddi team” but i was wrong and im going to change that.

Placement Experience:

From Semester 7 or 6 i think students are available for campus placements. most of the companies are startups and not much offers are made. the highest package is like 10000 and the lowest probably like 5000. around 60% students each year gets placed. my plans are to take masters abroad and after that find a job back home and settle down. sounds pretty boring but yeah.

Just the facts!!!!

Likes

Faculty are good except some . They really help us to clarify our doubt and they are friendly
Less interdepartment fights, if there is fight it is solved on the spot

Dislikes

First I didn't like the college it build inside small road,no good program happened
No private bus rout always the only way is using college bus or walk to the college around 3 km

Placement Experience:

I think within semester 7 the students are get placed with a fair salary Wipro IBM infosis etc... are visited in the college In my memory i think there is placement upto 10LPA The percentage of getting placement is nearly 30 to 40 % What plans just get a job and settle down

Great atmosphere, faculties, lecture notes

Dislikes

Very poor placement we want great companies like Wipro IBM Tata but we got local companies so it's a major problem and also there is no tech fest so we want tech fest also actually techfest is important so we have to develop our ideas

Placement Experience:

4th year students eligible for placement but also they give placement training in 3rd year actually in our college the famous companies are not visited local companies are mainly come there so placement wise there is low opportunity so many students got placement but it's local companies

Semester exams by KTU is comparatively tuff than other universities
Supply - being get backpackers is adisliking factor

Worthy education- [RCET], Thrissur

Placement Experience:

Though I am a fresher; still studying so after some researches I can provide sufficient information about placement. But the placement history of the college is best. Companies include Infosys, HCL, TCS, Flipkart, Amazon, tech Mahendra, Wipro, etc. The college has above 50% in pass percentage for years.

LIFE OF A BTECH STUDENT

Likes

Faculties are good and kindly and friendly also very helping too.
Gives more importance to practical rather than theories

Dislikes

computer labs are not too advanced systems are laggy sometimes
Campus life is boring not many activites

Placement Experience:

there are placements in every years but not every one gets it. because every one has less skills rather than coomparing their marks.becuase of their lacking of skills they have ended up being placed undeer companies which offer less salary.but some got good options also.and my collge is in a rural ares so not so many companies gets here

Cannot participate in all porgrams, if a student get supply
Located in a little bit inner area of main road

Internships Opportunities:

Actually there is no pretty good internships available in royal college of engineering and technology,but they provide internships of one week or two week inorder to help students to get their activity points
