Established in 2001, Roever Engineering College is affiliated to Anna University, Tamil Nadu. Roever Engineering College B.E./ B.Tech Admission 2024

REC offers B.E./B.Tech course in six disciplines. For admission to B.E./B.Tech programs candidates must have passed HSC (10+2) from TN only in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) with minimum 50% marks.

Admission to B.E./ B.Tech courses of institute are provided on the basis of TNEA conducted by Anna University.

TNEA rank list will be prepared according to the marks obtained by the applicants in HSC in PCM. However, candidates who have passed classes 8^th-12^th from other state are also eligible provided they enclose “Nativity Certificate” along with the application form.

Admission to B.E./B.Tech through lateral entry is given to those candidates who have done 3 years Bachelor’s Degree in Science with Mathematics as one of the subjects at degree level with minimum 55% marks. For SC/ST candidates only a pass is required in order to be eligible for admission through lateral entry.

For admission it is compulsory for candidates to appear for TNEA. Management quota seats (35% seats) are also filled on the basis of TNEA merit list.
65% of seats are filled by Government quota through the Single Window Counselling.
Relaxation of 10% and 5% marks is given to SC/ST and OBC candidates respectively in the qualifying exam percentage criteria.
For calculation of marks rounding and normalization of marks will not be considered for minimum eligibility.
Srilankan Tamil Refugee candidates who have studied in Tamil Nadu will be considered under open competition only.

Roever Engineering College M.E./MCA Admission 2024

REC offers M.E. course in four disciplines. The institute also offers MCA course at PG level. Candidates willing to apply for a seat in the college in M.E. course should have 50% marks in B.E./B.Tech degree examination. Candidates who have a bachelor’s degree from a recognized institute are eligible for admission to MCA course.

Selection for M.E. course is on the basis of TANCET/GATE entrance exam. Preference will be given to valid GATE card holders. Candidates having GATE score card are eligible for admission.

For admission to MCA course candidates should have sufficient marks in TANCET. TANCET entrance exam conducted by the Anna University is an offline exam.

Key Points for Admission:

M.E. degree courses are offered full time only.
For admission to M.E. courses, B.E./B.Tech degree obtained through Distance Education is not considered.
5% relaxation in qualifying exam is given to OBC candidates and 10% relaxation is given to SC/ST candidates.

Roever Engineering College Application Process 2024

Applicants should request an appointment for a personal interview with an Admissions Representative of the College or download application online.
Candidates have to pay the prescribed fees online.
Application form along with the required documents must be sent to the college.
Applicants must bring the following certificates in original at the time of admission
- Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate with mark sheet
- Transfer Certificate
- Community Certificate
- Conduct Certificate

Roever Engineering College Reservation 2024

Only native candidates of Tamil Nadu can avail the benefits of communal reservation.
Community Certificates issued by the authorities of other states will not be considered for communal reservation.
If a candidate is unable to produce the photocopy of the Permanent Community (Card) Certificate or electronic form / digitally signed e-Certificate at the time of submission of online application, he/she will be allotted seats through Open Competition only.

I will applied many college and I didn't rejected the main problem is fees they have high fees and my college is accessible for me it's near my house so I chose this. The admission process is conducted by the government in tnea(tamil nadu engineering admission) the cutoff is taken from 12th in range of 150 minimum

I asked to my English professor Dr.RSA Susikaran. He told you should complete the PG course. This course will be help to your future. So only i choose this college. I am going to ask the management and join immediately without entrance examination. They are asking only my previous course details and certificates. I showed all my bachelor certificates and then they proceed to my application.
