What facilities are provided on the RAIT campus?

A campus at RAIT is an integral part of D. Y. Patil University, well-developed and well-equipped with all modern infrastructure. The campus contains Wi-Fi-enabled academic blocks, air-conditioned classrooms, and computer laboratories with all modern facilities. It also has electronic workshops and a library full of technical books, journals, and corresponding digitized versions of various technical materials, as well as seminar halls, innovation labs, and project rooms where students may carry out technical or entrepreneurial ideas. Also included on the campus are medical assistance, cafeterias, banks, and sports grounds.

How are the classroom and lab facilities at RAIT?

RAIT has fairly modern infrastructure. Larger classrooms, well ventilated, some are equipped with projectors and digital boards. Labs have to support systems and software for at least Software, IT, and EXTC branches. The labs are open for additional practice before projects' submission. Wi-Fi is somewhat patchy at times. In general, a better environment for the learner would exist if the learner is self-motivated.

Is hostel accommodation at RAIT, and what are the hostels?

A hostel facility is being provided at RAIT for both boys and girls. Hotels provide the students with easy access to classes, libraries, and other amenities. The rooms are mainly twin or triple sharing with basic furnishings such as beds, desks, and wardrobes. Hostels are Wi-Fi enabled and offer security, housekeeping, and laundry services. A tight in-time policy exists for safety, with wardens appointed for each block of the hostel. Mense serves vegetarian and non-vegetarian food; however, students mostly eat out, given Navi Mumbai's plethora of cafes and eateries nearby.

How strict is the attendance policy at RAIT?

RAIT, like most engineering institutions in India, preserves a minimum attendance requirement, with the usual figure around 75% per semester for each subject. If attendance is less, students are prohibited from appearing for internal assessments or final exams. Relaxations may be given in areas such as medical emergencies or genuine cases, wherein proper documentation is submitted. Regular attendance is also encouraged for those students who want to earn internal scholarships or want good recommendations for placements.

Is RAIT good for Computer Science or IT placements?

RAIT is an institute reputed for placements of Computer Science and IT students. These branches face highest placements, which further translate to handsome pay packages. Major IT services and consulting firms such as Infosys, Capgemini, Accenture, and TCS routinely visit the campus. Sometimes tech startups and product-based companies also recruit for positions in software development, web development, and data analytics.

What companies visit RAIT during placement season?

Most visiting companies belong to the IT services and tech consulting fields: TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Wipro, LTI, and Capgemini are frequent visitors. Product-type companies will visit subject to demand: ZS Associates, Mu Sigma, and Jaro Education. Core companies do visit in cases of Electrical or Instrumentation branches, but their numbers are fewer.

Can students choose higher studies after RAIT?

Yes, many students from RAIT do higher studies of MS, MBA, or MTech in India and abroad. The faculty assists with transcripts, LORs, and evaluations of projects from students when they apply to universities in the US, Canada, Germany, etc. The entrance exams commonly taken are the GRE, GMAT, GATE, IELTS/TOEFL. Quite a few alumni have just about managed to go abroad to good institutions.

RAIT - A BRIEF

Yearly it was around 350000 lakhs. Now the fees have increased even more. We can pay in installments, but semester fees have to be paid before end sem exams. Other than that library fine can be paid, etc

The yearly fee for the course of betech cse cybersecurity is 3 lakh 80 thousand which can be paid quaterly as well. Fees for aiml nd aids is the same where as only cs costs 3 lakh 25 thousand . There is no scholarship whatsoever!!!

The fees is almost 16 lakhs for 4 years in btech with 30 thousand for registration fees, as it is a private college the fees are same for all, they give us opportunities like internship and all that beside that they do not give any financial aid

A Moment of truth of DY Patil Navi Mumbai

This year I have paid 480,000Lakh. In this 30,000 is the tution fees for 4 years. The college have 2000rs registration fees if applied online. There are no category wise addmission in this college it have first come first serve. The different subjects have different fees according to their courses

The exam system as it takes place almost after every single week

My annual fees for my course BTECH in artificial intelligence and data science is 4.5lakhs. And it's the same for last 2 years. In the first year they took a institution fees, which is 30000. You'll get all your stationary on that particular fees itself which includes your lab files, dy pages and graphs.

Overview on Dy Patil (RAIT)

The year comprises of two semesters ,with each semester we have to pay an amount of 1.9lacs there was any miscellaneous fees as such there was just a registration fees of 500 Our entire fees that we pay includes all the materials we get for journal submission aswell as entry into every labs that are present in the college. There's no different fees for different categories everyone pays the same amount There's no scholarships that are provided as far as I know
