Ramoti Devi Institute of Engineering came into existence in the year 2008 in the Ujjain district of Madhya Pradesh. The college is working day and night to achieve their motto to become a leading Engineering Institute for high quality education and research in engineering and technology. The institute is approved by AICTE and is affiliated by RGPV, Bhopal.

The institute is situated on atop a small hill on a sprawling area of 50 acres full of lush greeneries giving an ultimate place to learn.
