Admission to the institute can be obtained through the UPSEE exam, conducted by Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU). The college faculty is well-qualified, each holding at least an M.Tech degree, and the student-to-teacher ratio is favorable, with 5-6 teachers per subject. Mathematics and chemistry faculty are known for their expertise and friendly approach, while physics and electrical faculty are less approachable. Academics include four exams per semester: ST1, ST2, PUT, and End Semesters.

The B.Tech fee structure is as follows: First Year - Rs 122,650, Second Year - Rs 107,635, Third Year - Rs 105,735, Fourth Year - Rs 104,657. The college attracts a moderate number of companies for placements, mainly local firms and major recruiters like TCS, HCL, Wipro, Accenture, and Infosys.
