Admission to the institute can be obtained through the UPSEE exam, conducted by Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU). The college faculty is well-qualified, each holding at least an M.Tech degree, and the student-to-teacher ratio is favorable, with 5-6 teachers per subject. Mathematics and chemistry faculty are known for their expertise and friendly approach, while physics and electrical faculty are less approachable. Academics include four exams per semester: ST1, ST2, PUT, and End Semesters.
The B.Tech fee structure is as follows: First Year - Rs 122,650, Second Year - Rs 107,635, Third Year - Rs 105,735, Fourth Year - Rs 104,657. The college attracts a moderate number of companies for placements, mainly local firms and major recruiters like TCS, HCL, Wipro, Accenture, and Infosys. Roles offered range from Software Engineer to Senior Software Engineer, with packages between 4-5 LPA, and the highest package at 36 LPA. Average packages vary from 4-6 LPA.
Placement eligibility starts in the 5th semester, with high participation from CSE and IT branches. Around 70-90% of students secure jobs, though internships are not offered. Scholarships, mainly from the UP Government, are available for students with lower family incomes, but no loan assistance is provided. The general fee is about Rs 135,000 annually, although some pay Rs 80,000, including lab and development fees, excluding registration fees, as the college is affiliated with AKTU University.
Scholarships from the UP Government are available, and campus placements and internships are offered without additional fees. Companies also provide internship stipends.
