RMD COLLEGE REVIEW

Likes

The lab infrastructure is good here and equipped with many systems
The washrooms facilities are pretty good and neat
They support ecofriendly atmosphere and altogether its good

Dislikes

The college is strict in terms of dresscode
It is more or less felt as a school to me however that was good
The last semester fees was actually vain because we wont be visiting the college during last sem

Admission:

Academic reputation is goo here and i got it here via tnea counselling. I was not anticipating for this college actually but i got it through counselling . Admission process is very similar to all other colleges.

My college is very located in very peacefull place. i like my college greenery of my college there is lots of plants and trees in all the surroundings of college it is giving us lots of oxygen and fresh mind
And also i like food of my college compare to so many college it is better. many college my college food is better and students will able to eat my college food comfortably so there is no bad about food in our college co

I dislike about my college they not allowed phones in my college it is very strict about phones there not allowed out side food and they for asking leave and asking for outside gate pass we want to wait very much.

Admission:

As of many colleges in my college area iam choice my college because 1.food 2.greenary 3.carrer opportunity 4.good faculty Above are the some reasons i want to join my college above all other colleges.

The truth of RMD ENGINEERING COLLEGE

Likes

Food is good ,it's likely home food ,they will cook mostly in Andhra style but it won't be spicy
Sports is also nice , everytime there will be some competitions
The college is mainly for strict environment, for parents who want their children in strict environment

Dislikes

There will be no fests, dances , programmes , enjoyment,there will be only studies
The Placements are very poor nearly every year 50-100 students are not getting placed in cse of total 180 , and also average packege is 3.5L
For hostel students there will treat them as prisoners like they won't allow them outside of campus without getting permission from their parents even for final year students

I choosed this college because of my parents and my brother , they forced me to join in this collage bcz this college is very strict and they will take care on each student and also they will show intrest on each student , like that they forced and made me joined in this college . Even my brother studied in veltech college and he knows about other colleges in chennai , so he also forced me to join in that college and me feel very burden and stress

Likes

The quality of infrastructure is very good and campus environment is awesome and feels good
Placement assistance is good and unless you work hard you can't get the job and training sessions is enough to get placed in comapny
Teaching method is superb and there interaction is very good and they teach each and every topic in practical way

Dislikes

There is no social interactions in my college and they only focus on education and they didn't encourage students in social interactions
Very strict rules in inside the college they didn't allow outisde or home food inside the campus
Curicullum is not good and they have more teaching sessions and very less assignments and more college hours

Admission:

There is no entrance for this college.I am from andhra so there is no entrance exam they take from 12th marks. And the eligibility of the course is 60%per in 12th. From the application form we have to visit the college,there is no application fees and the admission dates will be announced in the college website. Acoording to the cast there is a reservation benefits for tamilnadu people. There are 8 semisters through out the course and for every sem there are 2mid exams and 1model exam and the semester exam. The duration of each exam is 3hrs. And the difficulty level is moderate. The admission fee are very different for every student so there should be a fixed amount.

Faculty was very well trained and very much supportive to the students.
College provides very nice and good food for the students.

Admission:

The admission process for the college is very simple.There is no any entrance exams for the college admission.And also there is no any group discussions or personal interviews for the college admission.If we are from the any other states not from the Tamil Nadu then we are under the management quota and we have pay additional fees like donation.

Likes

Faculty is encouraging and supporting for the students in every aspects.
Infrastructure is very good and college surroundings will be neat.
campus life is moderate and placement is good

Dislikes

Faculty shows partiality sometimes towards students
Mobile phone is not allowed and strict rules
No fests and annual day are not conducted in the college.

Admission:

Above 75% in 10th and 12th standard In RMD website Tution Fees will be decreased For every semester there will be 2 cycle tests,2 mid exams,2 modal exams and Difficulty level is Moderate I suggest to conduct Interviews and group discussion for the admisiion process

My genuine review about this college is having good atmosphere

Likes

Nice campus with good academics and very talented staff and food is one of the special thing in our college. ...
It has a proper infrastructure and free wifi is available in classrooms and hostel for 24 hours.
For Placements we have got many companies coming to our campus that includes Wipro,Infosys,Zoho,etc.

Dislikes

They don't allow the students of opposite genders to talk each other
Phones are not allowed inside the campus and also not allowed inside the hostel

Admission:

.The Admission Process was good they divided the admission process in 2 categories.The 2 categories named as government quota and management quota.For government Quota they provide less fees and for management quota they provide more fees.However the fee difference between government and management quota will be 60,000-95,000.I preferred government quota since I got high cutoff marks in 12th standard. .The application form for joining the college can be download through online or through getting the application form and filling it by directly going to college.

I liked most foodevery Tuesday thats great.
I liked most is college atmosphere is good well maintained and cleaned every day.
Teachers are too good in this college very friendly and supportive.

Dislikes

They didn't celebrate festival events like cultural, teachers day.
Some of labs are not maintain well. They not have proper work items.
One of main disliked is my college doesn't allow mobile inside the campus even visitors also.

Admission:

I just have a pass mark in 12th grade. There is no entrance exam. I just applied to the Tamilnadu Engineering application (TNEA). And I pay 5000 rs for the application process. And I just selected and college. There is no need for any improvement everything is fine.

Nothing such as disliked. The college is top notch

Admission:

Eligibility of the course: I have opted for ECE (Electronics and Communication Engineering). It requires an average percentage of 60-70 in Physics Chemistry and Mathematics in the HSC Examination. I would say that this is one of the best disciplines in engineering which could pave the way for more career opportunities. We can find the application form while applying for Open Window Selection at Anna University. Reservations are allocated as per Government norms.

A promising engineering college in chennai

Likes

Food at first, they got tasty and healthy southindian menu and then the infrastructure, they maintain it well

Dislikes

Not able to participate in any other things rather than studying

Admission:

There are two types of seats available one via government seat and another one is a management seat, in order to get a management seat you need to directly contact the management based on your marks it will cost you lakhs of rupees and I get into through government seat since my college is Anna university affiliated one I purchased application form for 500rs and applied for all the colleges which is affiliated to them and then they ran counselling for all the students who applied there I selected this college, note that if you want to get government seat in a decent college you need to score good marks, at that time when I applied they have 20% of reservation for OBC.
