Oriental Institute of Science and Technology Jabalpur Course Admission 2025: Dates, Fees, Eligibility, Application Process, Selection Criteria

Oriental Institute of Science and Technology (OIST) offers a number of courses at the undergraduate level, particularly in the fields of engineering. Those who wish to pursue such courses at this university may apply to do so through the official university website or at the institute itself, alongside appearing in the JEE Main examination.

Admission to the undergraduate B.Tech. programs at OIST is based on the performance of the candidate in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) held annually, and the rank obtained subsequently in this examination. Based on the results of this examination, a merit list is prepared and selected candidates are intimated about the details regarding the admission process.

Those selected on the basis of their performance must then appear in person for the admission counseling process, while also ensuring that all required documents are available for verification. Admission is confirmed only after completing all required processes, including document verification and payment of required fee amount.

The basic qualification for a candidate to be eligible is a pass at the 10+2 level from a recognized board in the country, i.e. State Board / ISC / CBSE or the equivalent, with a background in the Science stream. Reservation is in accordance with government regulations. Appearance in the JEE examination is also required.

The Institute also offers MBA at postgraduate level. Candidates wishing to apply to these courses may do so through the official university website or in person at the institute, after the release of the official notification by the institute.

Admission to the postgraduate courses is done purely on the basis of merit.
