National Sugar Institute Application Process

National Sugar Institute admissions are going on. Candidates can submit their online application form on the official website. This will be followed by an admission test for Indian candidates. The Admission Test is a pen-and-paper-based exam, and the scores determine the ranking for admission. Foreign candidates get admission on a first-come, first-served basis based on their merits. Tabulated below are the Guidelines for filling the application form:

1st step: Eligibility Checking Online (Student Registration Number Generated )

2nd step: Application form online. After successful submission, the candidate will receive a computer-generated filled-in application form in PDF format. (One office copy & other student copy)

3rd step: The office copy of the application form generated from the NSI website should be submitted on the day of counselling at the National Sugar Institute, Kanpur, along with the following documents:-

• Self-attested Passport size Photograph with Application number
• Self-attested copy of the certificate as proof of Date of birth.
• Acknowledgement of receipt of payment
• Self-attested copies of the mark sheets. [For each Year / Semester of B.Sc./B.E., etc.]
• The original copy of the Nomination Form was generated from the NSI website via online application at the time of submission of the form. [Compulsory for SBCC]
• For S.C./S.T. category candidates, a Self-attested copy of the certificate from the appropriate authority in the rank of D.M./Collector/S.D.M./Tehsildar, with a legible seal, should be submitted.
• For OBC (NCL) category candidates, a self-attested copy of the certificate from the appropriate authority in the rank of D.M./Collector/S.D.M./Tehsildar, with a legible seal, should be submitted. The Certificate should be issued after 31.03.2024.
• For EWS category candidates, a self-attested copy of the certificate from the appropriate authority in the rank of D.M./Collector/S.D.M./Tehsildar, with a legible seal, should be submitted. The Certificate should be issued after 31.03.2024. 16
• For candidates belonging to the RURAL CATEGORY, the certificate must be given in the prescribed form generated from the NSI website at the time of submission of the form.
• Candidates belonging to DEFENCE CATEGORY are required to submit a self-attested copy of certificate from the Secretary, Kendriya Sainik Board, Delhi/the Secretary, Rajya/ Zila Sainik Board/Officer In-charge, Records office/Ist Class Stipendiary Magistrate.
• For the physically challenged category, the self-attested copy of the certificate should be on the letterhead head duly signed by the Chief Medical Officer with a seal.
• During counselling, original Experience certificate(s) should be submitted on the official letterhead of the Factory/Organisation only. [Compulsory for SBCC and Executive ANSI (SE) Entry]
• The admit card will be available online from the NSI website.
• Other information/instructions regarding uploading of documents while filling the application form will be displayed on the website.
