In the reviewed academic year, approximately 70-80% of students secured placements, with over 35-40 companies visiting the campus. Key recruiters included Tata, JSW, Infosys, Wipro, and Dalmia. Students from the 6th semester onward were eligible for campus placements. The highest package offered was 12 lakh per annum, with an average package ranging from 4 to 5 lakh per annum.
Mechanical and civil engineering students had better placement opportunities, while other branches faced fewer options. Internships were not systematically provided by the college, but students pursued them independently, with some companies offering stipends of 20,000-30,000 during such programs. The placement cell was noted for its effectiveness in preparing students through mock tests and interviews, although there were calls for improvement in job opportunities for non-engineering branches.
