NSCET BE Admission 2024
Nadar Saraswathi College of Engineering & Technology offers four-year B.Tech in 5 specializations. The college also offers Lateral Entry to B.Tech.
Candidates who have 50% marks in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics as main subjects or 10+2 Vocational are eligible to apply for B.Tech. For Lateral Entry, candidates must have a Diploma in Engineering/ Technology to be eligible.
Admissions to BE program at the college are based on the marks obtained by the candidates in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Admissions will be conducted through TNEA.

Key Points:
- For calculation of merit list, marks obtained by candidates in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics will be reduced to 200, where 100 marks will be allotted to Mathematics and 100 for the other two subjects.
- Improvement examination marks will not be considered for evaluation of minimum eligibility marks.
- Seats will be divided for admissions through Government Quota, Management Quota and NRI Quota.
- As per university rules, children of Central Government employees will also be eligible for admissions even if they are not domicile residents of the state, provided their parents have been serving in Tamil Nadu for past 5 years.
- Applicants who are not residents of the state but have completed their 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th standards from Tamil Nadu will be eligible to apply for admissions without having to enclose their nativity certificate.
NSCET ME Admission 2024
The college offers ME in 2 specializations at the PG level. Candidates with a BE/B.Tech degree and 50% aggregate marks are eligible to apply for the course.
Admission to ME is based on the valid score in TANCET. However, GATE qualified candidates will be given preference during admission.
