MIET Jammu offers the B.Tech, BBA (Hons.), BBA LLB (Hons.), BA (Hons.) and B.Com (Hons.), BCA (Hons.), LLB (Hons), BBA BFSI (Hons.) courses at the undergraduate level and the MBA, MCA and M.Tech courses at the postgraduate level.

Admission to the Engineering Course at MIET will be done only for permanent residents of the state of Jammu and Kashmir.
Admission to the B.Tech course is done based on scores obtained in the JEE Main or Common Entrance Test (JKCET) conducted by JK BOPEE.
Admission to the second year of the B.Tech course will be granted to students who are holders of a Diploma from a recognized university/institution.
Candidates who have completed the 10 + 2 studies, under the science stream, are eligible to appear for the CET.
Admission to the MCA course will be done based on performance in the entrance test, JUET, conducted by Jammu University for candidates who are holders of a bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
Applicants to the MBA course will be shortlisted on the basis of performance in the MAT / CAT / CMAT examinations.
Shortlisted candidates will be required to satisfactorily complete the group discussion and personal interview rounds to be considered for admission into the MBA course.

MIET Jammu B.Tech Admissions 2025

Model Institute of Engineering and Technology offers the B.Tech course at the undergraduate level and M.Tech at the postgraduate level. Applications to the B.Tech course are accepted from candidates who have completed their 10 + 2 studies under the science stream and have secured a minimum of 50% marks (40% for reserved category) in the board examination. Further, applications are only accepted from domicile residents of the state of Jammu and Kashmir. Diploma holders can apply for admission into the second year of B.Tech through lateral entry.

B.Tech course seats will be allotted on the basis of scores obtained in the JEE Main / JK CET entrance examination, which will be conducted by the JK BOPEE. The counselling process for the allotment of the B.Tech seats will be conducted by the JK BOPEE board.Given below some important eligibility criteria.

Candidates should be at least 17 years of age to apply.
10 + 2 should be completed from the CBSE / ICSE / other recognized board of education.

MIET Jammu MCA Admission 2025

Model Institute of Engineering and Technology offers the MCA course at the postgraduate level over a duration of 3 years.

Applications to the MCA course are accepted from candidates who have completed their undergraduate studies, spanning a minimum of 3 years, from a relevant field and have secured minimum 50% marks in the qualifying examination. Admissions to the MCA course will be done based on performance in the JUET (Jammu University Entrance Test), conducted by Jammu University. MIET Jammu MBA Admission 2025

Model Institute of Engineering and Technology offers the MBA course at the postgraduate level. The MBA course will be taught over 2 years.

Applications to the MBA course are accepted from candidates who have completed their undergraduate studies, from any discipline, having secured a minimum of 50% marks in the qualifying degree examination. (40% for reserved categories). The applicants should also be domicile residents of Jammu and Kashmir to be considered as eligible to apply.

I have apllied for the jammu univesity and kc law college earlier i did not get admission there as my cut off is low but later on i get admission in jammu university but at time i have taken admission here and college is not ready to refund my fee so i just dont want to waste my parents money MIET has no entrance exam or some thing like that they just have 50% eligibility is you lack then you can pay more you will get the admission

a Wi-Fi facilities is available on the campus. Abhi cricket, football ground, basketball court and all sports are available. There is also present in the college. College buses are available for most of the routes in Jammu. Speciality members are also quite very good.

I also applied to Lpu Jalandhar but couldn't make it because at the end I wanted to stay with my parents in this city and I made a decision that I will move out for my masters. I am happy with my decision The admission process in my college is very easy you have to just take your documents and photocopies with you or fill the admission form online You will get an affidavit which you have to get stamped from the notary. And your admission is done They will mail you about the induction programme.
