MIET Jammu Important Dates 2025

MIET Jammu offers admission to its various programs based on scores in State and National Level entrance examination, followed by state-level counselling conducted by the Government of Jammu. Important dates regarding these examinations and counselling are given below-

MIET Jammu B.Tech Admissions 2025

Model Institute of Engineering and Technology offers the B.Tech course at the undergraduate level and M.Tech at the postgraduate level. Applications to the B.Tech course are accepted from candidates who have completed their 10 + 2 studies under the science stream and have secured a minimum of 50% marks (40% for reserved category) in the board examination. Further, applications are only accepted from domicile residents of the state of Jammu and Kashmir. Diploma holders can apply for admission into the second year of B.Tech through lateral entry.

B.Tech course seats will be allotted on the basis of scores obtained in the JEE Main / JK CET entrance examination, which will be conducted by the JK BOPEE. The counselling process for the allotment of the B.Tech seats will be conducted by the JK BOPEE board.Given below some important eligibility criteria.

• Candidates should be at least 17 years of age to apply.
• 10 + 2 should be completed from the CBSE / ICSE / other recognized board of education.
• Candidates should be a domicile resident of Jammu and Kashmir to be eligible to apply.

MIET Jammu UG & Diploma Admissions 2025

Model Institute of Engineering and Technology offers the BBA (Hons.), BBA LLB (Hons.), BA (Hons.), and B.Com (Hons.) courses at the undergraduate level. Applications to the BBA and B.Com courses are accepted from candidates who have completed their 10 + 2 studies and have secured a minimum of 50% marks (40% for reserved category) in the board examination.

MIET Jammu MCA Admission 2025

Model Institute of Engineering and Technology offers the MCA course at the postgraduate level over a duration of 3 years.

Applications to the MCA course are accepted from candidates who have completed their undergraduate studies, spanning a minimum of 3 years, from a relevant field and have secured minimum 50% marks in the qualifying examination. Admissions to the MCA course will be done based on performance in the JUET (Jammu University Entrance Test), conducted by Jammu University. Counseling for the allotment of the MCA seats will also be conducted by Jammu University.

• A bachelor’s degree should be obtained from a recognized university/institute.
• Candidates who have appeared for the final degree examination and are awaiting their results are also eligible to apply.
• Candidates must have a domicile certificate of Jammu and Kashmir to be eligible to apply.

MIET Jammu MBA Admission 2025

Model Institute of Engineering and Technology offers the MBA course at the postgraduate level. The MBA course will be taught over 2 years.

Applications to the MBA course are accepted from candidates who have completed their undergraduate studies, from any discipline, having secured a minimum of 50% marks in the qualifying degree examination. (40% for reserved categories). The applicants should also be domicile residents of Jammu and Kashmir to be considered as eligible to apply.

MBA applicants will be shortlisted based on their performance in the CAT / CMAT / MAT entrance examinations. Shortlisted candidates will be granted admission into the MBA course upon satisfactory completion of the group discussion and personal interview rounds, which will be conducted by Jammu University.
