My Ephraem Life

Likes

The environment is calm , Supportive staffs and teachers, Exams are helpful, Innovative oppurtunities for students, Activities and programs are being conducted by students, Industrial visits are also provided per year.
Safer environment inside campus, provides internet facilities to students, also internship is being provided, Sports wing has great trainng and performance that influences other too, comparitively less fees for the respective course.
Mentorship has been provided at the beginning of first year, Departmnet staffs maintains a great responsibility over each students, activation of several clubs , NCC , Blood donation camps are also inspiring,ragging free campus

Dislikes

Non effective placement training, Unauthorised fees hikes, fine chargng for delayed fees payment(without considerations to students conditions),
Irresponsible office staffs(not all, but some) , No girls hostel, No responsibility over girls who resides in hostel(since nonhostel is provided for girls, they reside on different provate hostels), bus fees is added for hostelers.
Additional mess fees for hostel girls, No cooperation of managaement for students innovations (majority of the times).

Admission:

I applied to another college in Nagercoil(St. Xavier's Catholic College) I got confirmation from that college ad this college. Since this college was comparitively near, I got admission here. my family choose this college too. We have contacted the admission cell and I had a small personal interview with a faculty member . After the intierview I got admitted to the college and I joined the college , the very next day itself. St. Xavier's College was on my admission list, but they were running out of seats, so finally I made it on Mar Ephraem. They appreciate above average students in academics by offering a fee reduction of ?30,000 from annual tution fees . The asmission process wasn't much complicated. Interview was conducted and Admission fees was paid.

My experience with Mar Ephraem

Likes

The college provide good staffs, who are good at teaching .
The staffs , both teaching and non teaching staffs are friendly.
As the college is in rural area, the campus is clean and beautiful

Dislikes

The college doesn't have on campus hostel for girls.
The management don't provide proper lab facility.
They take money for placement training but we are provided proper training.

Admission:

I had applied to vit but choose not to go because the fees and accommodation was not financially possible for me . I wrote keem exam and got admission to a college, VimalJyoti but as I had already joined this college with admission fee payed. I choose this college because this college was nearer compared to other colleges I applied to to and the fees was affordable. I applied to Saintgits College via keem but I got rejected. Other students with lower rank than me got accepted.After looking this up I found we needed to register directly with the college other than keem registration . I was almost easily accepted. I got recommended by a graduated student and got admission. I paid 10000 rs for admission.

Very friendly staffs. Easily connect with us
Campus placed in a very calm environment
Cultural programmes are at its peak and everything is perfectly done

Dislikes

Mobile signal too weak in the surroundings. Unable to attend even online classes
Cancellation on management related things are slightly complicated

Admission:

No entrance exams were conducted It's clearly about the 10th and 12th marks And admission is also easy as till the seat is available Also one more thing to be noted is seats are getting full So book your slots immediately

Campus area is located in very natural area
They allow to participate in every event
Teaching faculty is very friendly and helped in very critical condition

Dislikes

Sometimes Saturday classes are conducted
Semester leave are very short and very liabile
Personality development classes are also conducted after college time

Admission:

Eligibility for admission in MECET is above 50% in PCM and just go to the office just ask about the admission process. They will guide you with proper details and the process is very smooth and clear. Yes, Reservations are available as per government norms.

Green campus. Excellent college for studying in each course in there.

Admission:

Admission get by the percentage of 12th marks. Straightly go to college office and submit 12th marks. They will inform. Civil engineering is good course and good faculties. Good training and also good placement services. Also extra computer courses for studying.

Admission:

I opted this college since I didn't get allotment in colleges affiliated to KTU. I choosed this college due to its salient features. It gives me a good atmosphere for my studies. The college has a very good infrastructure. It also have well equipped laboratories. The college is also filled with well qualified proffesors.

I saw the advertisement in newspaper and contacted the college people .Later I visited the college , to know more about it.When I first saw my college, it doesn't had a good surroundings but it was in centre of greenery and my friend s already took admission their, so I also took.Their is some formalities to be filled and caution deposit of RS 10000 to be paid at the time of admission.

As though our college has been launched in the year 2009 now our college has a bunch of oppurtunities from the leading software companies like microsoft,infosys..etc.The college is also providing such amazing pffers to our students.Our college has a bunch of oppurtunities for our students to be placed at a reputed companies.In the area of internship our college does not provides any intership facilities but it is to be mandatory that every student mist complate interships during there semester holidays.now this is positive. and the negative is the fees structure is somewhat high to us.
