The college has faced significant challenges in terms of placements, with many students having to seek job opportunities on their own. Placement activities are limited, with only 3-4 major companies visiting the campus, and selection is often based on minimum percentage criteria. Historically, around 30-40% of students have been placed, with companies like Wipro, Infosys, TCS, Mahindra, and Syntel participating in campus drives. The average package for Infosys was reported at 4 lakh per annum, while smaller companies offered 1-2 lakh.
Internships are not widely provided by the college, with only a few students receiving offers from companies like Mindlabz Software Solutions. Stipends during internships ranged from 6k-10k. Core fields like electrical, mechanical, and civil receive little to no placement assistance, and students are primarily responsible for securing their internships and jobs. Nonetheless, the college is reportedly making efforts to improve placement opportunities, with alumni support playing a role in aiding freshers.
