There are some events which happens in our college such as talent hunt which is held usually around June , college fest occurs once in a year.
College has a central library which is large and has a variety of books and journals and articles. Also it has department libraries where the particular students acam study separately.
The classrooms are good but doesn't have any technology. The seminar rooms are provided for virtual learning and they have projectors for this.
The campus has grounds for outdoor sports such as badminton, cricket, volleyball etch . And along with that it has an indoor sports room where billard and other board games cam be played.
Ther are also annual functions, diwali functions. And also almost all books in library and all sorts facilities are available and student run some of theri teams in sports and also many labs fro virtual experiences
So there is one fest which took place every year where many Punjabi singers come and perform on the campus, and it is mostly conducted during summers, so the college has the facility of library and it mostly has all the journal and books, it has 2 smart classrooms and the other room are the simple ones, the sports activities are mostly organised by the students and the college doesn't organise it from themselves, there are not any social group or clubs of this college.
Life on the campus was mostly good. The students were very social and their friends were amazing. Amenities were available and if any or some books were needed, the library was happy to issue them provided they were available.
The college organised a fest each year where numerous students would participate in different programs spanning from quizzes and competitions to plays. In addition to this, the college also organised sports events albeit in scarcity. There were also a few social groups but they were mostly scarce.
The gender ratio seems to be 1:1 that is 50 50 . So gender ratio does not creates any problem. But in mechanical engineering you cannot find any girl student. The workshop are also there for different streams where you feel that you are actually becoming engineering but again faculty is a problem. The student diversity is also there as student from different religion studied there. Only students from middle class and upper middle class studied there.
The gender ratio of the college is quite balanced. There are little to none extra curricular activities. In order to perform any extra curriculars, the student needs to do everything on their own. Debates, Symposiums etc. take place only during fest. The daily routine is 8-2 just like school.
Labs were well equipped. Extracurricular was not that good. It was not valued much by the organizing committee. Sports, not at all. People had to skip the classes without being seen to go for some sports. Yes, an annual technical cum cultural cum educational event was organized by the University which they allowed us to participate in.
In mechanical there are only boys in my batch and in electrical there are more boys but in all other streams, boys and girls are equally distributed.
There is no politically biased behavior in the college and regarding clothes, you have to wear a uniform from Monday to Thursday and your choice of clothes on Friday and Saturday and since this college is managed by religious trust girls can't wear pants even on Friday and Saturday.
And the atmosphere of the college is very much balanced, girls have equal authority as such the boys have.
Extracurricular are quite good there. Ranging from lab works to fests. But there aren't any sports facilities provided there. Students can indulge in sports activities only during college fests or by opting in any competition.
There are good computer labs available, which can be used for useful purposes. The engineering labs are a little out dated and not as well maintained as they should be. This is a drawback, to compete with modern challenges.
