MBM: Students' Opinion

AI-Generated Summary based on 241 Reviews

The faculty at this college, affiliated with JNVU University, presents a mixed picture. The faculty-student ratio is favorable, ranging from 1:15 to 1:100 depending on the department, with an overall satisfactory ratio of 1:20. Faculty members are generally well-qualified, with many holding Ph.D. degrees from reputed institutions like IITs and NITs. They are experienced, with some having over 35 years in their fields, and many are actively involved in research and consultancy, providing practical knowledge in addition to theoretical teaching.

However, there are concerns about faculty irregularity, particularly in government colleges, with some focusing more on private consultancies than class responsibilities. The college also faces a shortage of permanent faculty, leading to reliance on guest faculty. Despite these issues, most faculty members are approachable, helpful, and supportive, providing advice and mentorship to students. Exams are conducted in a structured manner with mid-terms and end-sem exams, making the curriculum manageable for disciplined students.

While the faculty is considered strong in fields like civil, mining, and mechanical engineering, there are concerns about irregular class schedules and outdated curriculum in some areas.

Faculty:

The faculties are good but some facilities just don't care about your studies. There are two mid terms in every semester and the one main examination. You have to rely on only yourself The exam timetable comes late.

Faculty: If I talk about the faculty of this college, I must say that the faculty here is very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Their quality of teaching is very good and understandable, as they are quite helpful and very well qualified. The things we learn in this course are very relevant and the curriculum is relevant too but I think it is outdated in some aspects. This course does make the students industry-ready and to be out there and do any respective jobs as per their qualification. The difficult level of semester exams or midterm exams is average, as it's not a big deal. One can gain a good CGPA by doing good study and being disciplined. About 85–90% of students clear the semester exams with no KT (backlog) in any subject, as the difficulty level of the exams is somewhat average.

If I talk about the faculty of this college, I must say that then faculty here is very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Their quality of teaching is very good and understandable, as they are quite helpful and very well qualified. The faculty to student ratio is generally 1:60. There are three exams are conducted per semester wise mid term 1 , mid term 2, and final paper or say semester paper, they are easy to clear if a student attend regular classes and cover the syllabus in time so he\she can attain very good cgpa.

Faculty:

The faculty to student ratio is 1:100 respectively. The faculty are of calm nature , highly qualified , knowledgeable and experienced .The faculties are approachable easily in their respective department . Among best faculties Professor B.P. Jain , Professor Amit meena and Professor SK Vyas . I like them due to their teaching style and behaviour towards students . I personally do not like Professor Ashok dariwal , Professor Ajay sharma due to their aggressive nature .In a year you have to give to main exam or university exam twice during the end of a semester while there are mid term also which are used to conduct after one month of starting the semester . It is not so easy to crack the university exam . You have to read at least one or two month before the exam . Approximately, 90% of students get passed. The syllabus is very relevant and is according to th e university rules.

Permanent faculties are short in my branch especially but guest faculty keep everything under control. The faculty to student relation is professional and yes it is quite approachable. For my year there is only one semester exams but for my juniors there are midsem now conducted. Most of the students clear the exam the students who fail in exams the number are quite less now. Students who doesn't clear the exam depends upon the branch in my college.
