Krupajal Engineering College, Bhubaneswar, also called KEC is an engineering institution in the Eastern Zone of Odisha, which was established in 1995 under the Krupajal Group of institutions. The college is approved by AICTE, New Delhi, affiliated to Biju Patnaik University of Technology, Odisha and accredited by NBA & NAAC.
The college offers several undergraduate, postgraduate and Diploma courses in the fields of Engineering & Technology, Business Admission, Computer Application etc.
The students are admitted to the B.Tech programme through the JEE National level entrance test. There is provision of Lateral Entry of 10% of sanctioned intake for Diploma holders directly to the 3rd semester as per the BPUT guidelines. The students for post graduation courses in M.Tech are admitted through GATE Score. Admission to the MBA, MCA and PGDM courses are done on the basis of merit in MAT/CAT/XAT/OJEE or ATMA.

At undergraduate level, the college offers Bachelor of Technology degree under six different specialization subjects. All the B.Tech courses are of a duration period of four years. The college also accepts B.Tech degree under lateral entry.
Aspiring candidates need to pass the 10+2 examination or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and must have obtained at least 45% marks in the above subjects.
Admission to the B.Tech course is done through Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) conducted by CBSE. Candidates who are willing to appear in appear in JEE may visit the official website. 5% relaxation of marks for the SC/ST candidates will be considered

Krupajal Engineering College M.Tech Admission 2023
The college offers Master of Technology degree at postgraduate level with the duration period of two years. The M.Tech programme is offered under five different specializations. The intake capacity of each of the specialization course is 18 seats.
Admission to the course is done on the basis of marks scored in PGAT. This is only done if there are vacant seats after the counselling is done through GATE (General Aptitude Test in Engineering). However, candidates need to have studied and passed Bachelor’s Degree in relevant discipline and secure at least 60% marks in the Bachelor’s degree level.
Eligible candidates, who are gearing up for GATE, may visit the official website. 5% relaxation of marks for the SC/ST candidates will be considered

Krupajal Engineering College MBA, PGDM and MCA Admission 2023
At postgraduate level, the college also offers degree courses in the fields of Business Administration and Computer Application and diploma course in Management field.
- For the MCA programme, candidates will be selected from Odisha JEE merit list during counseling by OJEE
- In order to seek admission to the MBA course, students will have to sit for an entrance exam such as MAT/CAT/XAT/OJEE or ATMA
- Candidates applying for the PGDM programme will be shortlisted based on their score on CAT/MAT/XAT/OJEE. The short listed candidates will be called for an GD & PI which will be held at Bhubaneswar, Kolkata, Ranchi, Patna and Jamshedpur
- For the MBA programme, preference is given to the postgraduates & technical degree holders
- 5% relaxation of marks for the SC/ST candidates will be considered

I choose this college because of the faculty , the environment and the fame . Rather than my Clg is way better than other colleges we have in our area . We do not get the toxicity like other college give to their students like huge assignments huge attendance problems Etc .the adimission process is very smooth also . Krupajal engineering college is one of the best colleges in eastern India and it comes under the top 10 colleges in Odisha as well. I am from the general quota so I do not have any quoTa as well as I have not joined in management quota but there are provisions to take admission through management quota. It is an engineering BTech and diploma college. So one can take admission in diploma after completing 10th or in BTech after completing 12th or diploma. To get admission you have to crack jee exam and to get a good rank. Once we clear jee exam with a good rank we can apply for any branch in this college then the day when the result will be published if we get a chance to take admission in this college next procedure will be started. They will intimate all details and procedures about the admission through call and they will give 15 days to 20 days to gather all documents. Then the council of students will take place at the college campus where they will take all your documents and money for completing it.

I got admission into this college through OJEE in the computer science branch. The admission is done through counseling conducted by OJEE. I chose this institution the reason being the faculties and 100?placement in this college. It was among the top 10 colleges in Odisha

Its was known for their mechanical engineering degree but after getting admitted to this college the whole scenario changed teacher started leaving the institution because lack of proper management and half paid salary at the end of final year the placement cell did not provide any proper guidance of placement instead they started taking money for admission process.i recommend that no one should take admission in this college.if you want to enjoy your engineering day and do not care about your degree then only you should take admission

Ojee exam is conducted in the summer then the student gets a rank after that the student needs to fill the choice filling form which contains colleges as the choice filled the student gets admitted. There is also a withdrawal process for students.
