Kingston college review

Likes

Exams should be reduced due to more exams we cannot concentrate on career
Kingston college is very good in teaching and staffs are very friendly
Quality of the college is really good eco friendly

Dislikes

Lack of exams and more pressure on exams
Extra study hour and extra classes after college college hours
We need more campus drives and more high companies

Admission:

I have applied for VIT and in Andhra I have cleared exams and got 4 admissions in four colleges .But my dad said to try in VIT and Kingston.in vit i lost rank and so finnally I joined In kingston college

I liked the faculties and their teaching.
I liked the environment and the nature beauty of college.
I liked the Friends and their bonding in college.

Dislikes

I didn't like the fees structure and the extra money.
I didn't like the exams and their schedules.
I didn't like the timings of our college.

Admission:

I have applied for Vit vellore, I got seat in that college but due to fees I didn't join that college. I have joined in management in this college. I didn't get any rejections from any college. The students with greater cutoff will get seat.

Likes

I liked the friends around me. Because they are the reason for me to be happy in college.
I liked the sports they provide. Many inter-college games are conducted behalf of our college team.
i liked the environment there, which is very peaceful and pleasant.

Dislikes

I don't like the faculties and the management, where a lot of rules.
I don't like the cleanliness of our college. the restrooms should be maintained better.
I don't like the exams conducting i our college . Exams are more and more.

Admission:

I have applied for VIT in vellore. I got seat in that, but my rank in that too far to get the seat i needed. So I chosen this college for my career. No, I didn't get any rejections from any colleges I applied for. There is only two process to get into our college. One of them is Counselling and another is Management. They accept TNEA cutoff marks for Counseling purpose. Yeah is better experience in Admission purpose.

Likes

They train students by conducting periodic tests.
Good environment and clean place. Good lab facilities.
They try to focus on sports recently. It is one of the good thing.

Dislikes

Faculties are not good enough and they are not updated.
Dress code for both boys and girls. So there is no independence in wearing dress.
Placements are also not good enough. If I selected in one company whether I like or not I am not allowed to attend other campus interview.

Admission:

I applied for thanthai periyar, Gtech, global, Abdul hakkem & Kingston college in Vellore. Due to my family financial situation I'm unable to move from my native city. Because of hostel fees and other accomodation. I wish to study in thanthai periyar government college due to low fees structure. However, during anna university counseling I couldn't get a mechanical course in thanthai periyar. So I chose Kingston which is comparatively better than other colleges in Vellore.

Likes

I liked the college infrastructure and the disciplines of the faculty.

Dislikes

Always keeping the exams and tests that is the some problem to me personally.

Admission:

Basically, I went through the admission process by adapting the Anna University counseling which was a top grade University in Tamilnadu. I applied online and attended the counseling offline. We have to choose any three top-rated colleges accordingly we may get a chance of going into it based on our percentage marks obtained in our Higher secondary.

Admission eligibility for courses as per Tamilnadu and anna university norms computer science & engineering electrical and electronic engineering mechanical engineering civil engineering information technology business administration the application form will be given in college only, application form fees will be around 200 rupees

My honest opinion of this college..

Likes

I liked the school location where the school is near mountain with peaceful atmosphere..
The infrastructure were better they had 1 bulding for Engineering students 2 for hostels for both gender and 1 for management students
They had good transportation even though the cost of transportation is high. They connected every localities

Dislikes

They have strict dress code and strict facilities who always keeps eye on every action you do..
They have not good food item in canteen .. Some even encountered cockroach during my time..
For those who think of enjoying college days i wouldn't recommend this college.. As i felt my school days are far better than my college days.

Admission:

I cleared my 12th hsc exam with a 176 cut-off out of 200. I applied for Anna university where I can choose 1 college out of many affiliated colleges according to my cut off.. So I had to choose Kingston Engineering College as it was the only college near my locality. I chose CSE as I am eligible for this acc. to my cut-off. I availed of a scholarship as my cutoff is above 80% where 20,000 is deducted. I didn't place through as their placement opportunities are very less that time only 4 out of my class are placed which is very less comparatively. The improvement they need is they really treat their student very strictly. I don't enjoy my college days there as it was really strict in everything.

Admission:

It was simple, our Tamilnadu conducts every year counseling for admission and if you don't apply for counseling, then a management seat will be available. If you are a counseling student and the first graduate then the fees will be less.

Admission:

I had applied to three colleges in Vellore the first preference is VIT Vellore institute of technology, and the next Thanthai Periyar Government College Of Engineering and lastly Kingston Engineering College which is nearer to my home. I am not able to join VIT because the course fees are too high for 4 years nearly 3.5 lakhs per year which is not affordable to my parents, And the reason the next college is seats are filled for BE Electronics and communication engineering which I preferred. so finally I joined Kingston engineering college. I availed OBC quota for my admission to Kingston Engineering College. The Admission criteria for B.E ECE is one must complete HSC or 12 the grade in any state of India with a minimum of 65% in Maths, Physics, Chemistry and age should be above 18 years. The admission process is either through the Management quota or through Government quota, I jones through the government quota and the procedure for doing this he/she must apply to Anna University through TNEA.
