OUR KCET

Likes

FRIENDLY teachers , everyone in our college is so kind and parental control , they don't hurt our feelings . They speak very good to us
Our college environment , it's so good to sit in our restzone or at the sides of hostel
Our badminton stadium , it's so big and so clean

Dislikes

Canteen food , it's okay but not good . Sometimes it may be good and sometimes so bad
Dress code . The rule is girls should not wear leggings. It's so sad

Admission:

Because, this college is located in my district and it has good overall view and prescriptive from everywhere. I got confirmed admission at loyala Chennai . My parents chose this because it's near and safety . In management quota, there is not much eligibility needed like high scores . The eligibility is just pass mark in 10 12 and for counselling is upon the government. The cutoff I had 145.5 it's good only . But we entered with management quota

Dislikes

No proper Culturals, No symposium for Ece department
Sometimes treats like school in our department
No proper Snacks in canteen during my college days

Admission:

This is the college I have been choosed first. I got the admission through management couta for My cutoff. For Ece 138.5 is the cut off for Management couta for Counseling fees. I didn't applied for any other college

Reality of My College during my Collegedays 2016-2020.

Likes

In parents meeting or during any events they welcomed parents with respect by providing good food to them.
Hostel facilities for hostel students are good.
They dont charge extra fees after tution fees and they are having a big library for students and e-library also there.

Dislikes

Campus interview is not for all branches of students, as many companies are from IT sector only.
Bus facilities are there but during evening study bus will not go to our regular stops sometimes bus gobupto only city main entrance Periyar nilayam.
Extra curricular activities are only for hostel students ,dayscholar students are not aware of it and staffs also dont encourage them to participate in it.

Admission:

As this college only had Btech Biotechnology course in Virudhunagar which is nearer to my madurai comparatively with other college qnd rven for my cutoff marks in AnnaUniversity Engineering Counselling in 2016.Counselling process is simple I have paid the fees with my mother and uncle and they taken a ID photo and after 10 days I joined the college.

Likes

Cleanliness, they maintain college campuses, class rooms, lab and toilet clean as compared to other colleges around Madurai.
Facilities like library, computer lab and other basic need for the course is available from 8.30 am to 6.00 pm
Staffs are friendly with students so we feel free to ask any doubts inside the campus.

Dislikes

I feel the standard of staffs in our department is low, because they didn't encourage us to do projects rather they will give idea based on their knowledge and I completed project.
I used to go by college bus, its not in good condition. Probably they used many second handed or third-handed bus.
College management didn't allow any student vehicles to park inside the campus. As college is in Madurai to Virudhunagar by-pass we felt difficult to park two wheelers.

Admission:

I have entered through Engineering counselling where I paid 5000/-. One of my friends joined through management quote, which is 50% higher than our college fees. We have daily test, weekly assignments and monthly test, only through these test our staffs calculate internal marks. Timing were followed based on curriculum. I don't find any difficulty for admission.

The infrastructure was really fantastic.
Everyone will definitely have a campus offer.
The faculty members would be very friendly.

Dislikes

The transportation facility will be little difficult.
It will be tough to submit the assignments.
It will be little difficult to do lab if you wont listen.

Admission:

The admission process was done by the manager of Kamaraj College of Engineering and Technology. I asked for the Computer and Engineering course. The eligibility of the computer science group was to have the cut-off above 120. I have the cut-off 121. So I took the computer science course. The application form can be brought from the college. We can apply online.

i liked the infrastructure of this institution very much.
The campus is full of greenaries and makes students to feel relax and helps to concentrate more on studies.
here also having the hostel facilities to stay there adn bus facilities for travel.

Dislikes

probably no this to be disliked about this campus.
campus should also have more interaction with our parents
it need to improve its classroom infrastructure.

Admission:

The admission for UG and PG courses are done as per the government Norms. For UG courses, 65% of the intake is admitted through a Single Window System conducted by the Government of Tamil Nadu. The 35% of the intake is done through the single window system.

faculties were friendly and good, infrastructure was good.
Laboratories and extra curricular activities were also good.
hostel life and college environment was also good.

Dislikes

Hostel food was low quality and averagish.
Trips and industrial visits are averages.
no intercollege programmes are conducted by the college.

Admission:

The admission process was very easy. I got the application form from the college (offline). im not sure about the reservation details since I didn't use them. no improvements were required in the admission process everything was good enough.

No, there is no entrance exam here. Choose any field you want to study they will compare your cut off and they permit you to take that course you can find the details on the college website. the application form will be given in the admission office otherwise you will put counselling
