At the undergraduate level, Kalasalingam Institute of Technology offers four-year B.E (Bachelor of Engineering) and B.Tech (Bachelor of Technology) degree programs to the aspiring students.

• For Admission to the undergraduate engineering degree courses, a candidate should have passed in the 10+2 level examination with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.
• Admissions to the B.E/ B.Tech program are done through Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA).
• Online application for TNEA can be done through the official examination website.

At the postgraduate level, Kalasalingam Institute of Technology offers two-year Master of Engineering (M.E.) degree program in two specializations namely, Computer Science and Engineering and VLSI.

For admission to the M.E program, candidates are required to hold a B.E./ B.Tech degree in relevant discipline of engineering or any other appropriate qualifying degree prescribed by the Director of Technical Education, Government of Tamilnadu and obtained minimum required marks.

Candidates who fulfil the eligibility criteria will have to appear in Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) conducted by the Anna University, Chennai. Admissions to the M.E programs are also done based on the score secured in GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering).
