- For admission to the MBA course of KGRCET, aspirants must have passed Graduation in any stream from a recognized college/university and with 50% aggregate marks.
- Valid non-zero score is mandatory in Telangana State Integrated Common Entrance Test (TSICET).

- And admission to the B.Tech. course, under “Category A” seats is given through a state level entrance test - “Engineering, Agricultural Sciences and Medical Common Entrance Test” (EAMCET), which is conducted by Telangana State Council of Higher Education and admission into the MBA Course is granted based on performance in state level entrance test called “TS ICET (Telangana State Integrated Common Entrance Test).
- In addition to this, the college has two categories called Convener Quota and Management Quota, where 70% seats are kept reserved for students having valid EAMCET scores and 30% seats are filled by the college management based on the guidelines issued by the government of Telangana.
- On the other hand, for admission in 2nd year of B.Tech as a lateral entry, 10% seats are kept reserved for students having a valid state level entrance test called TSECET.
