Jorhat Institute of Science and Technology M.Sc Mathematics: Fees 2026, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

Ans. The total fee for M.Sc Mathematics at JIST is based on the official 2024-25 fee schedule; please check jist.ac.in for the latest fee circular. Per-semester fee includes tuition (INR 9,665), laboratory, and university charges. Hostel fees are optional and separate.

Ans. Admission is merit-based on qualifying BSc / BSc (Hons) marks. No separate entrance examination is required. JIST publishes an admission notification on jist.ac.in in May-June, followed by a merit list in July. Shortlisted candidates attend document verification and pay fees to complete enrollment.

Ans. Yes. JIST has been affiliated with Assam Science and Technology University (ASTU), Guwahati since the academic session 2017-18, for both its undergraduate and postgraduate science and engineering programmes. Prior to 2017-18, JIST was affiliated with Dibrugarh University.
