The Chemistry program is well-regarded and admits students in June based on their 12th-grade board exam percentages. The selection process follows a merit list and counseling. The program has 7-8 faculty members, aged between 30-35 years, who hold at least a master's degree, with several pursuing PhDs. The faculty is dedicated and well-qualified, ensuring students' success. The annual course fee is 10,000, payable online or offline, with no hidden costs.
Currently, the program does not offer placement opportunities. However, students can engage in internships, including social and departmental internships, to gain practical experience. An internship with the Indian Academy of Sciences at IISER-K is awaiting commencement due to the pandemic. Scholarships are available based on academic performance, averaging 60,000 annually, and the college supports the application process. BPL cardholders have a negligible fee structure, whereas non-BPL students pay an admission fee of 9,000 to 10,000, with additional semester and exam fees.
