President’s Scholarship
- Children of Defense personnel and working Defence Personnel are eligible for 25% scholarship on tuition fees, valid for all years across UG and PG programs.
- Spouses/Children of faculty and staff of Poornima, JIET Universe, Medipulse, and JIET Hospital are eligible for a 75% scholarship on tuition fees, valid for all years for UG and PG programs.
- Spouse/Sibling of alumni of Poornima and JIET Group are eligible for a 20% scholarship on tuition fees, valid for all years for UG and PG programs.
Note: Student can avail only one scholarship. If eligible for multiple, higher scholarship will apply.
JIET Sports Scholarship
- Students participating in National Level Sports Championships or Tournaments are eligible for 20% scholarship on tuition fees for UG and PG programs, which is valid for all years.
- Students participating in State Level Sports Championships or Tournaments are eligible for 10% scholarship on tuition fees for UG and PG programs, which is valid for all years.
JIET Hostel Scholarship
- Girl candidates enrolled in UG and PG programs are eligible for a hostel scholarship of INR 20,000, which is valid for all years.
JIET AICTE Scholarships
AICTE offers scholarships to support eligible students studying at JIET. Some of the scholarships include the Pragati Scholarship for Girls, which provides financial assistance to meritorious female students pursuing technical education. Another scholarship is Prime Minister’s Special Scholarship Scheme (PMSSS) for Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh residents.

JIET Refund Policy
- If a student wishes to withdraw prior to the start of the course, the entire fee will be refunded after deducting INR 1,000 as a processing fee.
- If the seat is filled on or before the last date of admission, the refund will be made after deducting INR 1,000 along with the hostel charges or monthly charges.
- The date of refund will be determined based on the last date of admission declared by the institute.
