JIET Universe B.Tech Civil Engineering: Fees 2026, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

Admissions to the college are now based on 12th-grade percentages and JEE scores, with top-ranking students typically securing their preferred courses. The civil engineering department faces challenges due to a lack of experienced faculty, with many teachers leaving mid-session for government jobs. The B.Tech program costs approximately 5-6 lakh INR, with annual tuition fees around 1 lakh INR. Hostel fees start at 70,000 INR, and day scholars pay an additional transport fee of about 20,000 INR per year.

The college offers various government scholarships, including a merit-based scheme that reduces fees for the top 4 students in each branch. Placements annually involve about 400-500 students securing jobs at companies like IMA, Infosys, Wipro, Tata, Google, and Byju's. During the 2019-2020 placement season, 600-700 students were placed, with an average salary package of 5 lakhs per annum and the highest reaching 50 lakhs per annum. Students are eligible for placements from their 6th semester.
