IEM Kolkata (IEM Saltlake) BBA: Fees 2026, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

Ans. Under the NEP 2020 framework at IEM, the BBA program has multiple exit options. Students completing 3 years (6 semesters) receive a BBA degree. Those who continue to 4 years (8 semesters) receive a BBA Honours degree. Students who complete the 4-year program with a research component receive BBA Honours with Research. The 4-year options are more rigorous and are the tracks IEM charges the full INR 4,90,000 for. Students can exit earlier and receive a lower-tier qualification if needed.

Ans. The IEMCET online mode runs from December to May each year, letting applicants choose any available date and shift at their convenience. The online exam is 2 hours long. Ans. IEM Kolkata and UEM (University of Engineering and Management) both offer MBA programs that BBA graduates from any recognized university, including IEM itself, can apply to. MBA admission is through IEMCET counselling for the management track, requiring a valid score in CAT, MAT, or the IEM management entrance criteria. BBA graduates from IEM do not receive an automatic preference or reserved quota for the IEM MBA and compete on the same merit basis as all other applicants.
