GITA Autonomous College Bhubaneswar Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

I heard that this EEE branch is more better in GITA Autonomous College. So , I took that. Teachers are good. To be honest Till now I don't find any real world application of my branch studies. I think in future I will find such. They are importing use less subjects for branches that are not required to them anymore. Just to income by getting students debarred and get 500 Rs. Per paper as back paper or supplementary. Exams : Each month has an exam. Two semesters and 2 mid-sems per year

Placements are very nice. Companies like Argusoft, Infosys, Wipro etc. They provide a decent package and nice job opportunities. Mass placements are done as well. Almost 80 percent of the students got placed

The course is very good . The course will make you industry ready so you should choose the course. You will also trained how to crack interviews , aptitude and grammar tests etc.There are 2 exams one is mid sem and another is end sem per semister . The exam are not that difficult.

Specific azpects of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose this course is my interest in this course. The curriculum prepares me for real world application or further pursuits is good. There are one mid sem and one semester exam in a semester.

There was a time when TCS & WIPRO used to come to our college.So that time is the prime time of the college i thought. * Because after when I admission here I don't see any relevant company. * The average package is 200000 per year which is very upset. *And the Highest package currently 4.5Lpa. *The percentage of students getting placement arround 30-40% of the students. *My plan is to get a job in IT sector.

6 semester students are eligible for campus placement. Previously many companies are came for hiring but nowadays few companies are come. Maximum companies are providing sell and marketing jobs. In this year approx 50% students are placed. In average package 5 lakh per annum

As GITA college follows BPUT, so the syllabus of each semester completes everything that is necessary for every btech students. As I am in 5sem and I have learnt Java, Python, Adavance python, DSA(not so much), they arranged these subjects in such a way that there will be no pressure for any students.

After the 6 th semester you are able to sit for campus placements.Companies likewipro,infosys, and tcs comes for the campus placements.The highest package is upto 15 lpa.Actually you just have to maintain a cgpa above 8 so that you can sit for the campus.

From the 7th semester students become eligible here for placements.in the academic year 2023-2024 due to recession not much companies visited here.highest package here is upto 10 lakhs with an average package of 3.5-4.0 lakh.50-60% students got placement this year.

In terms of relevance and comprehensiveness the curriculum is somewhat okay because it is the same as of any other big college. I choose my department because I was to invested in learning about new technology of computer science but all I have learnt till date is from the internet and YouTube The frequency and timings of exams are a little triggering We gave our last semester exam in December and the next semester exam in May that give us only 4 months in one semester. But this is happening in most of the colleges in this region.
