- Dr Ambedkar Institute of Technology for Handicapped is inviting candidates for Pre-Registration for admission against Vacant Seats of PG Programs (M.Tech/ M.Pharm/ M.Arch) in Private Institutions for AY 2024-25. Interested candidates can register themselves online @aktu.ac.in by selecting the suitable Mode of Registration (GATE/GPAT, UPTAC or Required Qualification).
Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Technology for Handicapped (AITH) was founded in 1997 by the Government of Uttar Pradesh as part of a World Bank-funded project through the Technical Education Program. The institute is affiliated to AKTU Lucknow. AITH Kanpur provides technical education to students at the undergraduate (B.Tech.) and diploma levels. The entire campus is barrier-free and dedicated to global vision, with normal and impaired students studying together. The Undergraduate level study is open to both normal and disabled students, whilst the Diploma level course is just for physically impaired students.

AITH Kanpur offers B.Tech Program in 5 Specializations namely Biotechnology , Chemical Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Information Technology. Every B.tech Specializations offered by AITH Kanpur has a total intake of 60 Students in 1st year. AITH Kanpur also Offers Lateral Entry to its B.Tech Program.
AITH Kanpur B.Tech Eligibility Criteria
- AITH Kanpur conducts BTech admissions through JEE Main followed by UPTAC counselling. Applicants should have passed his or her 10+2 level exam with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from any recognized board with a minimum aggregate of 45% marks.
- Relaxation of 5% marks for SC/ST candidates.
- AITH Kanpur also accepts 20% of total sanctioned candidates on the basis of JEE Main as per the State Govt. norms.
- For B.Tech Lateral Entry The candidates should have passed Diploma in any branch of Engineering or Technology (except for Agriculture Engineering) with minimum 60% marks from an institute recognized by the Uttar Pradesh Board of Technical Education. Candidates holding B.Sc degree in Mathematics from any recognized university.

UPJEE application form are available online only. The application fee is INR 300 for General and OBC candidates and INR 200 for SC/ST candidates. The payment can be made via Debit, Credit Card, Net Banking or SBI bank challan.
AITH Kanpur Diploma Admission 2024
Admission to AITH Kanpur Diploma Courses is limited to students or their parents who are U.P. state residents, excluding NRIs, foreign nationals, and PIOs. AITH Kanpur Diploma Courses are limited to 3 Specializations only Architectural Assistantship, Computer Science & Engineering and MOM & SP Each with a total intake of 40 Students. AITH Kanpur provides education only those candidates whose permanent physical disability is 40% or above. Except above all the reservations are effective as per UP government rules and regulations.
AITH Kanpur Diploma Course Eligibility Criteria
- Joint Entrance Examination Cell (JEEC), Lucknow, conducts entrance examinations for diploma level courses.
- For Computer Science and Engineering Assistantships (each lasting three years) To take the JEE, you must have completed high school (10th grade).
- Modern Office Management & Secretarial Practice (duration: two years) Intermediate (12th Pass) with Hindi & English as Compulsory subjects from UP-Board or equivalent is required to take JEE.

- Here function like(feresors, shankhnaad, awag) are very popular and celebrate incredible . In Feresos party all senior doing welcome 1st year student. Shankhnaad celebrate 3 days continuous( dj night, tech fight,...). Awag is specially for sport fo
- Senior are supportive in nature in all field. Few Faculty are very good and supportive. Here for girl and boys support making WhatsApp Group. Infrastructure are slowly slowly grown. Present library are so good all types of books present max to max.
Dislikes
- As expect ground, infrastructure, sport not good. Because ground are very small and in year only one time spent money for cleaning.
- For 1st year student classes are mandatory but in 2,3,4,year student not come in college regularly.

In priority order I fill in 10th place this college. But present time i love my college. I want to say about process of admission in AITH kanpur which is a part of AKTU. First we give jee mains then applying AKTU counciling. I select in AKTU counciling and we get a admission letter. In college admission process are very simple. As say about dacoment collect and reach on time as per date.

- Boys to girl ratio is also good like 4 girls on 10 boys .

- Discipline is really lacking here, there is no restrictions
- Lack of cleanliness in college, toilets should be cleaned frequently

It was merely a coincidence because of my jee mains result when I sat into the aktu counselling in my first round got this college and because this college comes with a tag of govt engineering college I opted it .And yes it is decent

Students can take admission through jee mains in the college. The closing rank for cse this year is 1lakh20k you can fill the jee mains form through nta site and after that through aktu counselling you can apply for the college.

I choose this college than others because of some financial issues as compared to other colleges the college fees is quite low as it is also a government college. At time of my councelling I got several college affiliated with AKTI those were located in NCR region. I left them as the are private. Our college schedule is not very hectic so you can explore more in other fields also . You can get admission by jee mains rank through AKTU Councelling. I think cutoff are not so high they vary between 80-90 depend upon branches categories etc

- This college provide facility only for girls. Hostel facilities only for girls in campus for boys private hostel has provided only for 1st year and that boys hostel facility is not too good.

I have given JEE mains exam and based on that JEE mains is score I have got this college through aktu 2024 counselling. Admission process is very easy after aktu counselling you will visit this college and physical reporting process is very easy. All process is going smoothly and very easy in this college hall.

I have taken admission in Dr.Ambedkar Institute of Technology for Handicapped Kanpur because it is 4th best state government college for Btech in UP. It's fees is also low in compare of other colleges.

- their is no options for the hostel for boys and for girls 1st year hostel facility is available so their is no point of campus life its just like school like study and go back to your room , campus is just of 15 acres.
Dislikes
- This year 2024 the highest package was from chemical branch of 9lpa only and from CSE and IT branch max was 4-5 lpa that sit .
- Campus size is of 15 acres thier is only on main building and everything is within that building only ground is also their which is of no use grasses are grown of full length no spots facility no music no dance .

I have applied for studing in US but due high fees demand i was unable to take addmission their i have choose thus college because this provide less fees as campared to other colleges. i have applied for many college and they were ready to give me addmission but due to high demand of fees i did not take addmission their. the addmission process of my college to apply through aktu website they take jee mains score.

- Insfracture is satisfying not excellent level but ya its good and satisfying as a government institute.

- There is nothing like that which i dont like like in colllege everything is ok i can't say very well but its satisfying.
- Management is not very good some faculties are not helpfull and sports faculty is not well in the college .

You have to qualify entrance exam like jee or cuet and you can take admission here through counselling after counselling you have to lock your seat and pay tution fee then you can take admission in this college.

- Its a government college so not much pressure of attendance in 2nd and 3rd year you can easily prepare for other government exam and much free time for enhance coding skills
