Eligibility Criteria
Aspirants seeking admission to the Program should meet the following criteria as
Academic Requirement:
Admissions under Convener's Quota (70% of intake in each branch):
- A Candidate seeking admission to the four-year degree course in Engineering must have passed the Intermediate examination of the Board of Intermediate Education, Government of Telangana with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as optional subjects, or any other examination recognized by the Osmania University as equivalent thereto.
- All the eligible applicants for admission into First Year shall have to qualify in the EAMCET Examination conducted by the Govt. of Telangana. The candidates will be admitted strictly in accordance with the merit secured at the Entrance Examination keeping in view the rules in force regarding the reservations of seats of various categories of candidates.
- Candidates should belong to the state of Telangana / Andhra Pradesh. The candidates should satisfy Local/ Non-Local status requirements as laid down in the Telangana / Andhra Pradesh. Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission) order, 1974 as subsequently amended.
Admissions for BE/B.Tech under B-Category (Management Quota) 30% (% of seats as per Govt. norms for Merit and NRI):
- 30% of seats shall be filled on the basis of rank obtained in JEE mains, EAMCET and IPE or equivalent. For getting under this category, the student must secure not less than 50% in aggregate or in group subjects (Maths, Physics and Chemistry) in the 10+2 qualifying examination or as per the govt. norms.

- Best teaching faculty and way of teaching is very good and the laboratory is good in doing labs and lab faculty is very helpful and they will explain very clearly.
- Sports, Library, extracurricular activities are all available and college encourage in sports and other extracurricular activities
Dislikes
- Mostly there is not a specific things that describe about dislike in college but the functions are very less just only a 7days event in a whole year
Fees and Financial Aid:
The yearly fee structure for information technology is previous it has 1,40,000 but 25,000 is increased. So, the fee structure is 1,65,000 per year. For SC,ST caste there is full reimbursement and in ECET below 1000 integrated rank students get full reimbursement of 1,65,000 and in EAMCET below 10,000 integrated rank students get full reimbursement of 1,65,000 For the remaining students who get more rank other than SC, ST will get 35,000 reimbursement by the government by epass scholarship. You to need to pay 8,500 for lab fee at the joining of the college

- good infrastructure, like labs and ground, big library that apts all students to study well.
- events and fests go very well good guests will clme for educational events that encourage s us from core.
Dislikes
- There is nothing like disliking but, yeah there will whole domination in clubs.
- there will be no seperate coaching for placements, but they encourage us with another private coachins.
Fees and Financial Aid:
Tuituon fees will be increased based upon the management's and time durations. But those who are getting eamcet below 10k rank will be given free seat, but everyone should pay library fess every year, it will be around 10k, for eamcet based students, state scholarships like epass will be issued, and many more merit Scholarships will be given accordingly.

- Few faculty are very passionate about their work and want to help students
Dislikes
- Fests and other events are not that very good
- The schedule is so hectic .. 6 working days a week...which is so bad

Tution fees is 1,44,000/- in this college... it is good here to study but do not have high expectations... (Might say it's a bit ovverated) ... but you deserve this college if you work hard... good placements till date should watch how they would be in future... you get full fee reimbursement if you are eligible..

- It's mainly about the college fests and other events they conduct
- 6 working days in a week for first years...this is so bad about this schedule

The tuition fee per year is -1,44,000/- per year. If you are a minority you can get full fee reimbursement if you're eligible...if you are from another state you can get partial fee reimbursement for about 40,000/-. Even though there are few special quotas for NCC candidates and sports candidates

- Some strict and subjectless faculty and bad lab faculty

As I entered to this college by rank I don't have any fee it's free to me but I need to pay semester fees but for other people they have to pay 140000 as yearly fee and this may increase by a small amount by every 2 years or 3 years .The campus employment opportunities are good. We can have scholarships based on our IPE MARKS etc

Fee of the college is 140000.so,I have obc scholarship of my entrance exam. Campus provide/helps students in internship and campus placement and they ensure every student must get job in campus placement

- I don't like college old buildings,but it is fine

Our total fees is 140000 The St and SC students will get full fee concession irrespective of their rank Bc students will get 35000 fees concession if their rank is above 10k And students who got below 10k will get full fee concession.

Fees is constant for all the 4 years , maximum it may cost 2lacks including bus fees , for other state people this college doesnt provide scholarship eventhough if you have a good rank , if you belong to ts and have a rank below 10k then government takes care of the fees

What is better, CBIT IT or GRIET CSE?
B.Tech in Information Technology from CBIT is any day better than a Computer Science and Engineering degree from GRIET. The reason is that the CBIT IT branch has better placements than that of a GRIET CSE branch.
Placements: (Winning Institute - CBIT)
- We know that placements are one of the biggest factors in choosing a college and in that regard CBIT is a much better choice even though GRIET is not bad.
- Many top companies such as Microsoft visit both campuses and offer comparable high annual compensation.
- However, the companies usually recruit more students in the higher compensation packages at CBIT. So, your chances of securing the dream job are relatively easier at CBIT than at GRIET.
The average placements hover in the INR 6 LPA to INR 12 LPA range at CBIT for IT and CSE branches with the lowest package of close to INR 3.5 LPA. There are also a lot more MNCs coming to the CBIT campus than that of the GRIET campus.
Course Fee:
The only area where GRIET zooms ahead of CBIT is in the case of the program fee. For CBIT it is now INR 2.2 lakhs for the management quota students while it is only between INR 1 lakhs to 1.5 lakhs for GRIET.
You should choose CBIT as it offers better placements.
