The way of the clean place in our college campus
The teacher was learn to teach the lessons

Most of teacher don't come the class properly

Placement Experience:

Our college placements are very good and long term working on same company then easy to working probably in companys most of the companys in forensic and other states in our college then its pre prepared the student for the interview

Likes

Library and sports, college infrastructure.
Class infrastructure, good teaching, security.
Air ventilation,well vehicle parking, good placements.

Dislikes

Less number of seats for the applied course.
Less number of classes and Less number of benches.
Ground facilities are not well as much more.

Placement Experience:

In cipet college Placements are very well. The company's like caterpillar, reliance,MRF, Ather, UBE Corporation, HCL, Deccan plastics,konspc. Placement salary package is about starting from 20000 and highest package is about 80000

The students review

Likes

The college atmosphere is very nice and is somewhat of industrial type
The lab facilities are quite awesome and the teachers are very friendly.
The campus have extra courses such as CAD CAM.

Dislikes

There is no ground facilities and importantance for sports.
There is not enough staffs for handling subjects.
The subjects in academics are somewhat new and there is no notes available even in the internet

Placement Experience:

The placement will be eligible in the 7th semester,There are top most companies came for placement suchas fanuc, reliance,L&T,ITC, century panels,husky,valeo. Many students placed and got high salary package. percentage of student getting placed is 100%

The college providing good placements and good in discipline and culture
The college has well developed labs and testing and processing units
The ARSTPS research centr is near academic block and helpful for final year project

Dislikes

The college has very small play ground for outdoor games
The college provide less sports equipment
Most of the faculty are contract based and less permanent faculty

The student is eligible for placement from 6th semester and companies average package of 3LPA is available and the student should not have any standing arrears and some good campanies came for placements are century panel limited, jj plastalloy, rockman, ITW

The library which has a digital facility provide to get notes for the subject is more easy and learn the concept
The cultural activities which helps to express the each individual students talents
The club activities make the student to learn teamwork and organizing skills

Dislikes

Placement Experience:

The placement percentage of this college is 85 percentage. The remaining percentage comprises of becoming entrepreneur and applying for higher studies. Due to this there is no record of unplacement in this college which is a good reason to join in the college

Likes

The lab facilities with multi functioning machineries
Opportunity for the research projects in ARSTPS

Dislikes

No proper canteen facilities like other institutions
Less number of sports activities with small ground

Placement Experience:

There is placement assistance. There will be only core placements offered not IT or anyother offers. Maximum of 50 to 60 students will be placed before the last working day. The average package ranges from 2.5 to 3 lpa.

After completing the 6th-semester students are eligible for placement. Top recruiters are Reliance, Supreme, Mother-son,L&T, Dow chemicals 8 lakh per year is the highest package and the average package ranges from 3-4.5 lakhs. Almost every student gets placement opportunities, and students pursuing/ planning to pursue higher studies reject offers.

CIPET, a best-in-class institute that focuses on the studies of plastics and their products.

Admission -

Students who have completed Higher Secondary Education are eligible for admissions. The admission process is carried on by the state counseling process which is conducted by Anna University, Chennai. The seats are filled based on the engineering cut-off and the cut-off is based on the category of students.
The other way is very uncertain and entirely based on luck. The procedure involves the students who opt to not join the college after completion of counseling. This process is known as lapse seat filling. It is based on a first come first serve basis where students can directly walk-in for admission.
The students who have completed their diploma courses can directly opt for lateral entry which means that they can directly take admission in the second year.

Campus -

The campus of CIPET institute is not so vast.
The academic building consists of four floors with classrooms, a video conference hall, a placement cell, a computer lab, a seminar hall, an accounts section, and a cabin for professors.
There is a research center inside the campus named ARSTPS.

Fees -

The fees of the institute are fixed by the government. Though, some miscellaneous and hostel fees will be further added to the fees fixed by the government. It is estimated that the fees will be around Rs 1, 20,000 per year including hostel fees.

Quality of education -

The library is well equipped with books especially on polymers which can’t be found in general libraries.
The laboratories consist of all the facilities and students have the freedom to learn the working principles and procedures.
The questions in the exams are relatively easy and simple.
In the evening you can learn about design courses such as Pro E, CATIA, SOLID WORKS, MOULD FLOW, in the design center of CIPET.

Placements -

The placements are considered to be good. The placement is given only to the core companies.

Reliance Industries Ltd. offers the highest CTCs in placements.
The average CTC offered at the institute is around INR 15,000 to 20,000 per month.

Events –

A cultural fest named Cipofest is organized in the last two days of March which includes various non-technical and entertaining events.
Two symposiums named Negizhi and Uruvakkam are organized by plastics and manufacturing students between the month of October – November.

The starting salary packages offered at CIPET are low as compared to other undergraduate streams but the field of plastics offers a lot of opportunities. You can earn a lot with few years of experience. Taking admission at IITs or IISc is also easy with a degree from CIPET.
