Bharati Vidyapeeth College of Engineering (BVCOE), established in 2001 is a private college affiliated to the Shivaji University, Kolhapur. The college is situated near Chitranagari, Morewadi, Kolhapur. It is accredited with ‘Grade A’ by NAAC.

BVCOE offers B.Tech in 4 specializations and M.Tech in 3 specializations. Further, it also provides direct admission in B.Tech course. For securing admission in B.Tech, candidates must have a valid scorecard of MHT CET or JEE Main. While for M.Tech, BVCOE considers GATE scorecard. 

But the final selection of students is based on the Centralized Admission Process during which seats are allotted to students. This allotment is done on the basis of merit in the exam and choice of course and college filled by candidates.

To apply for the B.Tech course, one must possess the following eligibility:

• Candidates must have passed HSC of Maharashtra State Board Secondary & Higher Secondary Education with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with any one of the subject Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Technical Vocational.
• Also, they must have obtained 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PH candidates) in class 12th.

Eligibility for B.Tech Lateral Entry

Candidates must have passed a Diploma in Engineering/Technology or B.Sc with Mathematics as a compulsory subject.

The minimum requirement for the M.Tech course is a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology from a recognized university.

• Students with a GATE score are selected for admission into the course.
• A merit list will be prepared based on the score obtained by candidates in the exam..
• All those whose names are listed on the list have to appear for the counselling (CAP) which will take place in 3 rounds.
• During this counselling students have to fill the choice of college and course and get their documents verified.
• After each round, seat allotment will be done.
• This allotment is based on the rank and choices filled.
