Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc. Computer Science / IT / Mathematics, BCA, or B.Tech) from a recognised university with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST candidates).

Mathematics must have been studied at the 10+2 level or at the graduation level. Candidates whose qualifying degree did not include Mathematics at any level should verify eligibility conditions at the MAKAUT admissions portal before applying.

Candidates must have a valid WB PGET 2026 score. The exam is conducted by WBJEEB and is the primary route for MCA admission at MAKAUT-affiliated colleges in West Bengal.

Final-year graduation students awaiting results may apply provisionally, subject to meeting the 50% marks criterion on declaration of results.

Admission Process

Register for WB PGET 2026 at the WBJEEB portal (wbjeeb.nic.in) and appear in the exam scheduled for June 14, 2026.
