Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have passed Class 10 (Madhyamik or equivalent) from a recognised board with a minimum of 35% aggregate marks (30% for SC/ST candidates) in all subjects including Mathematics and Physical Science.

Candidates must appear in JEXPO 2026 (West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination for Polytechnic courses, conducted by WBJEEB) and participate in WBJEEB counselling for seat allotment at BITM Santiniketan.

Diploma completers are eligible for B.Tech Lateral Entry admission through JELET, effectively upgrading to a B.Tech in three additional years.

Admission Process

Appear in JEXPO 2026 conducted by WBJEEB. Ensure 10th pass with at least 35% aggregate before the exam. JEXPO tests Mathematics and Physical Science.
