Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent from a recognised board with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and one of Chemistry, Biotechnology, or Biology as an additional science subject, with a minimum of 45% aggregate marks (40% for SC/ST/PwD candidates).

Candidates must have a valid WBJEE 2026 rank or JEE Main 2026 score and must participate in WBJEEB centralised counselling for seat allotment at BITM Santiniketan.

Final-year 10+2 students who have appeared in WBJEE 2026 or JEE Main 2026 may participate in counselling provisionally, subject to meeting eligibility on declaration of results.

Admission Process

Appear in WBJEE 2026 or JEE Main 2026 and note your rank and category. WBJEE is conducted by WBJEEB and is the primary route for WB domicile students.

When WBJEEB announces counselling (expected June-July 2026), register on the WBJEEB portal at wbjeeb.nic.in with your rank and required documents.

Fill in college and branch preferences during counselling. Select BITM Santiniketan with Information Technology as your preferred (college, branch) combination.

Check the allotment result after each round. If allotted BITM, report for document verification at the BITM campus within the deadline mentioned in the allotment letter.

Pay the first-year tuition fee of INR 1,16,000 and complete MAKAUT university enrolment formalities to formally join the programme.
