Annually, around 75% of students secure placements, with 14 to 15 companies visiting the campus. This year, more than 55% of students were placed, with the highest package offered by Infosys at 13 LPA. Other significant offers include TCS at 8 LPA, TVS at 8.5 LPA, and Tech Mahindra at 7.4 LPA. Students become eligible for campus placements starting from the 6th semester. Internship opportunities include a 3-month program from GTDC and 1-month programs from TVS and HAL.
The curriculum features practical projects using SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Java, Python, C++, and CNC Machine operations. Financial aid is available through the SC/ST and BCM Scholarships at BGSIT, which significantly reduce the financial load on students by covering fees ranging from 50,000 to 75,000. These scholarships make quality education more accessible and help students manage their educational expenses effectively.
