The University of Mumbai's process starts in late May, focusing on qualifying exam marks. Faculty are generally well-qualified, though some lack experience, but they help students become industry-ready through interview and soft skills sessions.
Fees vary by caste, generally below INR 1 lakh per year, with scholarships available to ease costs. General category fees range from INR 75,000 to 85,000, while OBC students receive a 50% reduction. Economically disadvantaged students can access various scholarship schemes. The placement process starts after the 6th semester, with students eligible in the 7th and 8th semesters. The T&P cell supports preparation, and major IT companies like TCS and Infosys participate in recruitment, offering average packages of Rs 3,00,000 to Rs 5,00,000, with the highest up to Rs 17,00,000.
Around 70% of students are placed. Internships are not directly provided by the college but are available through companies like TCS and Oracle.
