As my guess, I think the 5th semester is good for taking campus recruitment. Infosys, Wipro, and many more. I don't know about this. Suppose there are 100 candidates for an interview and 30 people get selected. Haven't thought about it.

Regarding placements it is good at it. Reputed companies like M&M, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, and other Finacial based companies visit the college for the placement drives. Yearly 30 percent of the college students gets selected/placed in those drives. College also helps and trains students based on the role which they want to apply for it.

In 2013 I got 1 internship at Mangalore University college konaje. They came with local media channels and 2 days program. They gave news reader anchor and editor projects. I create flash news and participate very well. I got a prize as well.

There is no placement cell in the college. The students themselves have to search for jobs after their complete of the course. The amount of training they get is good to fetch them a job.
