FMKMCC BBM FAQs
Ques. Is BBM still offered at FMKMCC, or has it been replaced by BBA?
Ans. The BBM (Bachelor of Business Management) was the nomenclature used when FMKMCC was affiliated to Mangalore University. Since FMKMCC became a constituent college of Kodagu University, the programme is now officially offered as BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration). The curriculum, duration (3 years), and fee structure remain essentially the same. Students seeking admission to the business management programme at FMKMCC should apply for the BBA programme as listed in the current 2026-27 admission notification.
Ques. Is there any entrance exam required for admission to this programme at FMKMCC?
Ans. No entrance examination is required. Admission is entirely merit-based, determined by the marks obtained in the 10+2 / 2nd PUC examination. KCET is only for Engineering and Medical programmes and is not applicable here. Students simply need to apply with their 10+2 / 2nd PUC marksheets before the deadline of 15 May 2026 for the 2026-27 batch.
Ques. What is the difference between General and Payment category seats?
Ans. FMKMCC offers the BBA/BBM programme under two categories: General (government-aided) and Payment (self-financing). General category seats have a subsidised tuition fee of Rs. 5,500 per year (total 3-year fee: Rs. 35,220), while Payment category seats have a higher tuition fee of Rs. 12,000 per year (total 3-year fee: Rs. 54,720). Both categories follow the same curriculum and are awarded the same Kodagu University degree.
