Amrita School of Engineering (ASE) is a part Amrita group of Institution which was established in the year 1994. The engineering school is located in Ettimadai, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. ASE is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and is accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) constituted by AICTE, Government of India.
Amrita School of Engineering (ASE) provides Undergraduate and Postgraduate programs in several branches of Engineering along with Integrated programs. In addition, it offers programs leading to the Ph.D. degree in Engineering and General Sciences.
Amrita School of Engineering gives admission to several courses through common entrance examinations while admission to some courses are done on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examinations followed by personal counselling. Amrita School of Engineering (ASE) Coimbatore B.Tech Admission 2024
Amrita School of Engineering offers Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree programs in various disciplines. The B.Tech. degree is offered for a duration of four years. The college also provides B.Tech degree under lateral entry.
The university conducts Entrance Examination every year on all India basis for admission to the four-year B.Tech. degree programs offered in the three campuses at Amritapuri (Kollam), Bengaluru and Ettimadai (Coimbatore). This examination is referred to as Amrita Entrance Examination - Engineering, in short as AEEE
Candidates who satisfy the eligibility criteria will be admitted to the first year of B.Tech. programs through counselling, based on their ranks in the AEEE.

Amrita School of Engineering offers post graduate courses in the field of Science and Technology.
The M.Tech course is offered under 18 different specializations and the M.Sc program is provided under five different specializations. The duration period of all the Master degree programs is two years
Admission to the M.Tech program is done through an interview conducted by the University.
- Direct admission for GATE qualified students (No interview)
- Only Non-GATE students will attend the interview at their respective campuses. Interview invitation letters will be emailed to short-listed Non-Gate students.
For admission to the M.Sc program, selection is based on the marks scored in the qualifying examination and performance in the Interview.

Amrita School of Engineering (ASE) Coimbatore Integrated Admission 2024
In addition to the two-year M.Sc program, the college also offers five-year Integrated programs in the fields of Arts and Science. The Integrated M.Sc program is offered under three specializations. The Integrated M.A program focuses on English Language And Literature.
In order to get admission to the Integrated M.Sc program, candidates need to pass 10+2 level examination or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with an aggregate minimum of 50% marks from any State Board or CBSE/ISC or equivalent. For the Integrated M.A program, candidates need to pass 10+2 standard examination or equivalent with 50% marks in aggregate and a minimum of 60% marks in English.
Selection to the five-year M.A and M.Sc programs is based on the marks scored in the qualifying examination and performance in the Interview.

Amrita School of Engineering (ASE) Coimbatore Ph.D Admission 2024
At doctoral level, Amrita School of Engineering offers Ph.D degree programs to the research aspirant students. The Ph.D program is offered with multiple disciplines of Engineering. The doctoral program takes three to six years to complete the duration period.
In order to seek admission, eligible candidates will have to go through a screening test and personal interview conducted by the University.
Those candidates who qualified CSIR/UGC JRF or GATE are exempted from screening test, they can directly appear for the interview

- Log on to the college’s website to fill up the application form
- After filling up the form, choose the mode of payment– Online (Net Banking/ debit/credit card) or Offline (by way of demand draft for Rs. 1000/- in the name of “Amrita School of Engineering,” payable at “Coimbatore” for completing the submission of the online application)
- The application forms are also available through the branches of Dhanlaxmi Bank, Federal Bank and Post Office
- Application form for admission to the Ph.D program in Engineering can be obtained from the website
- The candidates who have opted to send the demand draft (DD) need to provide the details of DD in the online application form like Bank Name, City, Demand Draft Number and Date of Issue. They need to send the demand draft of Rs.600/- in favour of “Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham ”payable at Coimbatore along with completed application form and the necessary enclosures to the below mentioned address :

I have written the entrance exam. we should apply for the entrance exam online. The exam will be in online mode. There will be Mpc questions and it is single correct options. The reservation will be applicable for students who belong to st and SC.

Based on AE, JEE and PUEE exams your mark is considered and put into a rank list. You will be allotted seats as per your preferences in accordance with your rank. amrita.edu is the website for admission forms. Rest all of the admission procedure takes place in the AOAP portal. Faster allotment process, they take a lot of time to allot seats.

They will conduct entrence exam. It depends on our rank. www.aoap.com We have good placements in this amrita University ,good college life,College life good friends, best faculty and sports. We have clubs here in clg like sports, dance , ???? , acting and anchoring.

The college accepts admissions through JEE and its own exam known as AEEE. Normally if you get around 2k-4k rank in their exam you can get the Computer Science branch. The B.Tech courses are 4 years as expected and courses like BCA BBA are for 3 years.

I personally appeared for the AEEE exam as part of my entrance exam. For the said exam no special preparation is need of you are already preparing for JEE. It's paper will be easy and lucid.
