Admission to the college is simple, requiring a direct meeting with the principal to request a seat. An application is filled out and submitted with payment. The college features a qualified faculty that dedicates time to prepare students for exams and placements. The academic evaluation is split into 50 marks from internal assessments and 50 from the VTU board’s 100-mark exam. The college is the only engineering institution in the district, offering reasonably low fees.
Students can gain admission through the Karnataka CET for government-fixed fees. Placements are strong in the Computer Science and Electronics and Communication departments, but less so in other branches. The annual tuition fee is about 130,000 INR, excluding 2,000 INR for uniforms and 350 to 600 INR for lab fees. The Vidya Siri scholarship is the only available financial aid, though its process can be delayed by administrative issues like late generation of USN.
