Dwijendralal College offers undergraduate courses in Arts and Commerce fields namely B.A. and B.Com with various specializations. In addition to this it also offers certain career oriented certificate courses such as rural development, tax management and sales and marketing management.
Established in 1968, the college is affiliated to University of Kalyani and has been accredited by NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council) as a ‘B+’ grade college. Dwijendralal college also has study centres for other courses like Directorate of Open and Distance Learning, the University of Kalyani and the Indira Gandhi National Open University. The college has been named after a great poet and freedom-fighter Dwijendralal Roy and aims at development of an all-round personality of students.

To get admission to the college, you should be Higher Secondary Passed. The form can be found on the college website. The admission starts in August month. There is SC, ST, and OBC reservation. The admission website should be better.
I did my 12th in arts background. I choose 4 subjects like Geography, computer application, economis, and Philosophy. I scored good marks in computer application and philosophy. I wish to study further in computer application but therefore no vacancy available in my locality for computer application so I opt for philosophy.
After my class 12th result is out. I was fill the online form and i can remember the day 25 june 2017 our college had declare the merit list. After they ask for verification of my document. After completion of verification you will able to join classes.
I get chance by filling the form that college publish and by the merit list one can enter into a course. in first merit list I get the opportunity to entry in our college then have to pay fees for the course that one want to go through then one selected for the study.
The candidate should have passed 10+2 with commerce stream. The candidate should have passed 10+2 with arts. There are no interview process for interview. They do from fill up through online if they shortlisted then they took admission in the college.
After my 12th result is out. I fill the form for joining our college. Then they give me a specified date for declaring merit list. i can remember the date june 25 2017 i got 1st place in merit list. Then they ask for verification. And after completing that i got admission.
The admission process in this college is direct. I got admission into this college on merit based. My percentage was good and enough to clear the cutoff criteria. After filling the application form I got call directly from the admission department
After the hs result We had to fill up the form in the college website.college published a merit list and then whose mark is more than others,he or she would got chance.by this process I got chance in my college.
