Maharaja Nursing College of Tamil Nadu was established by the Maharani Educational & Charitable Trust, Dharapuram, which runs various institutions. It was established with the aim of providing holistic nursing and healthcare education to the students. It also aims to prepare students to become professional nurses who will be adequately equipped to render quality nursing care in any healthcare setting.
