Likes

The hospital exposure you get is really really good . Great learning experience at GTB with constant patient flow
You get to enjoy the fest that are held in ucms
theory supports practical skills in profession

Dislikes

teaching is okayish it could be improved and made more engaging
No independent campus or any kind of campus life
limited infrastructure , poorly maintained. Seating arrangements needs improvement

Internships Opportunities:

Internship is held in the eighth semester which is unpaid as of now but soon stipend will be given. Internship is held in guru teg bahadur hospital . There is a lot to learn in clinical field because of good patient flow and hospital staff enhances our learning experience

Faculties are too good, they will help you in academics
Faculties will also refer you book for studies
College will also arrange book vendors for you so that you can take books on reasonable price

Dislikes

There is no cultural club in the college
College don't arrange any fest for the students
There is no space in the college for big functions

Internships Opportunities:

.you'll get your internship in last semester i.e,8th semester for 6 months .you cannot get placements there .you get very good exposure of hospital and clinical in the intersnship .you'll get 500 rs per month stipend during intersnship .stipend will increase may be this year from 500 to 13500

Pros & cons of FNCON , GTB hospital

Likes

The faculty is pretty serious about your studies
The best part of FNCON is the parent hospital i.e. GTB HOSPITAL ,provides you with immense exposure for your skill enhancement
Curriculum is followed appropriately & help you complete your requirements for the course

Dislikes

They are a little too serious about academics
Less extra curricular activities than other normal degree colleges
No vacations & holidays for students & long clinical hours

Internships Opportunities:

Internship of 6months is provided within the course duration , under the parent hospital - GTB hospital,dilshad garden Stipend is 15k per month approved by central govt. For all the interns in nursing colleges
