- The minimum eligibility requirement of M.Sc. in Nursing course is B.Sc. in Nursing course or Post B.Sc. in Nursing program from a recognized University.
- Admission to B.Sc., Post B.Sc. and Post Basic Diploma is given on the basis of the candidate’s merit in the qualifying examination.
- Admission to Government quota in M.Sc. program is done on the basis of rank list prepared on the basis of entrance examination conducted by Commissioner of entrance, Govt. of Kerala (KEAM).
- Admission to remaining Management quota seats in M.Sc. is done on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination.

The eligibility requirement to get admission in B.Sc. in Nursing course is candidates must have passed HSC/ Pre-Degree Course/ 10+2 in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology with minimum 45% marks in aggregate. Applicants who want to apply for admission to Post B.Sc. in Nursing course must have completed General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) course of three years or three years and a half years duration recognized by Indian Nursing Council and have one-year of clinical working experience as a staff nurse in a hospital with minimum 100 beds. The applicant must be registered in Kerala Nurses and Midwives Council.
Admission to both the courses is given on the basis of merit as per the rules of Lal Bahadur Shastri Centre for Science & Technology (LBS) and the seats under the management quota are filled by the college on the merit basis.
