Candidate applying for admission in this program should have a M.B.B.S. Degree or equivalent from recognized board.
St. John’s Medical College offers MD and MS degree program with 22 specializations. The institute additionally offers M.Sc. programs in the fields of MLT Biochemistry, MLT Hematology & Transfusion Medicine and MLT Microbiology & Immunology.
The basic eligibility criteria for admission to the MD and MS programs is an MBBS degree. For admission to M.Sc. programs, candidates must have a B.Sc. degree in Medical Lab Technology with 50% marks. MD and MS candidates are selected on the basis of PGET marks. M.Sc. candidates must qualify the St. John’s Entrance Exam.
MD/MS candidates can apply through KEA counseling after qualifying Karnataka PGET. Candidates aspiring for admission to the M.Sc. programs can contact the institute office for admission purposes. M.Sc. candidates must attend the institute level counseling if qualified in the St. John’s Entrance Exam.

MD/MS candidates should have satisfactorily completed the Rotating Compulsory Internship of one year before the starting of the courses, and registered with the Indian Medical Council.
M.D/M.S: Candidates must qualify PG- NEET exam to be considered eligible for admission to the M.D/M.S courses. Qualified candidates must appear for the Common Counselling round conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA).

M.Sc. MLT/MHA: Candidates passing B.Sc. MLT through correspondence shall not be eligible.
Admission will be done on the basis of an entrance test.
M.Sc. Nursing: Admission will be granted on the basis of an entrance test followed by an interview conducted by the institute.
At the PG level, St. John’s National Academy of Health Sciences offers a 3-year-long Super Specialty course in (DM/M.Ch.) and DNB with the approval of the Medical Council of India and the Government of Karnataka.
