The MBBS programme offered by the institute is in two areas, namely, Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS).
- The duration of the course is 4 years and 6 months.
- The students must go for one year long internship.
- There is a total of 150 seats for this programme.
The admission to the programme is done through an entrance examination. The entrance examination will carry questions based on the syllabus of senior secondary school. For applying, student must fill in the application form correctly in their handwriting. It is mandatory to attach the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) mark sheet and other required photocopies of the original documents, attested. There is also a medical examination conducted by the university and only candidates who are declared fit will be allowed to pursue the course.

Candidate must pay a fee of Rs. 500/- and if it is to be received via Postal Order, then a fee of Rs. 600/- paid via Demand Draft drawn in favour of “Bharath University, Chennai”. The M.Sc Nursing programmes requires candidates to be registered with the Nursing Council of any State.
