Course Details
With an annual intake of more than 1,000 students, DAC offers three years undergraduate courses in an array of disciplines. Candidates will be admitted on the basis of their marks in best four subjects in Higher Secondary Examinations conducted by West Bengal Council for Higher Education/ CBSE/ ICSE or any other recognized board. Applicants must have secured minimum 50% aggregate marks or 55% marks in the concerned/ related subject for which the admission is being sought.

Key Points:
- For candidates belonging to SC/ST categories, minimum aggregate qualifying marks are 40%.
- Environmental Studies will not be included in best four subjects for calculation of merit.
- Applicants who have passed the qualifying examination from state other than West Bengal must submit Migration Certificate at the time of counseling.

Scholarship was awarded depending on performance in exams. Exams scoring in 12 class and weekly,quarterly tests were the criteria for eligibility of scholarship. Rs.5000 annually.
Course Curriculum Overview:
Chemistry is a wide subject with wide aspects which has many contributions in the society, so my syllabus provided by the Calcutta university is also very wide for 3years as we will have a lot of experiments and industrial exposure. We can get very good jobs as very rare student do study this subject. My college do have a great faculty in our science department and me and friend all are very happy and satisfied.
