Likes

Campus Life is awesome with enough activities and celebrations...even if they are namesake
There are a lot of restaurants and cafes available nearby
Faculties are really friendly and experts

Dislikes

Everything is expensive including auto service and food other than from mess
Curfew at 9:30pm which is really sad and cut shorts all programs conducted
Managing Director is too authoritative and wouldn't even listen to what the parents or students requests, he just do whatever he feels like

Internships Opportunities:

House surgeoncy is the internship we do. It is done for 365 days and we should do extensions otherwise. Got about 2 leaves per posting. Hostel is free but we got to pay for food. Some postings relieve us in the evening while some got 24hr duty

Likes

It has the best faculties who are very supportive.
There is good patient flow which exposes us to different cases.
It has a good campus and good lab facilities.

Dislikes

The college life is not that as it was expected.
The infrastructural facilities could be improved.
There are no scholarships available.Scholarships could be provided.

Internships Opportunities:

There is an internship of one year in the college after the completion of the course. Students will be rotated in different departments in the hospital. After this the student can either prepare for NEET PG exam or join as a Junior Resident anywhere.

My friends i made during my study was very helpful
The campus facilities are nice. There is peaceful atmosphere in campus
Some of the staff taughg very well and helpful

Dislikes

Some of the staff did not teach us very well
The college is strict in curfew for boys and girls
Not many extra curricular activities are promoted here

Internships Opportunities:

Internship as house surgeon is mandatory for 1 year after final year. No campus placements are given. Exposure is given to students where they become doctors in their period as house surgeons. They receive a monthly stipend.

Pushpagiri Medical College the best Private Medical College in Kerala

Likes

Academics and professors are too much good have better qualifications
College provides coaching for every sports without any coaching fee
Better hostel facilities and mess best food among all medical colleges in Kerala

Dislikes

Management is little bit strict towards academics you need to gain eligibility for writing exam which is mandatory as per NMC rules

Internships Opportunities:

All the students for completing MBBS in pushpagiri Medical College need to work one year here has half surgeon this is a rule by National medical council in every Medical College you need to do the same you will be provided with stipent of 17000 which is the highest among the all private medical colleges in Kerala

TRIED TO BE AS HONEST AS I COULD

Likes

The number of patients available per department must be appreciated as it help students like us to learn more deeply.
Good infrastructure which is well planned and clean.
Food court within in the campus is a real time saver and the food served there is of good quality.

Dislikes

Normalising gender stereotypes. Having said that after a lot of discussion they allowed same curfew for both the gender. But in a larger scale I don't think this is a progressive campus.
Freedom of faith is not strictly followed. No issues with offering some common prayers but I believe it's a fundamental right.
The lecture halls doesn't have AC. Not a necessity but during the scorching heat few weeks back it was very difficult and tiring to sit and concentrate.

Internships Opportunities:

Our course is 4.5 years long and a year internship is compulsory. A stipend id 15,000/- is allowed which is no where near to the patients we attend a day and also compared to government Colleges. But due to the good patient inflow one can get proper practice.

Internships Opportunities:

This is a medical college we have 6 months compulsory intership as housesurgeon where we work in all the departments and further internship is not there because many will go for pg studies .since medical course is lengthy and even from first yr onwards our intership begins actually it's a clinical Orient course so each day we are trained for it

Placement Experience:

The job opportunities after learning this course is immensely high. Because there is a deficit of 20lakh doctors in India. And rural areas need more doctors. Research field is also in need for doctors. Yes our College provides internship. The experience is wonderful

Internships Opportunities:

Yes 1 year internship.. But i have no experience of it currently.. From my seniors it is well and good and they are exposed with pretty good cases and become more professional in the field by the tike they complete their turn. About Stipend it is as directed by the government. 10000rs.. I think .
