OUTLOOK OF PIMS

Likes

The thing i liked about pims is the infrastructure and the quality of teachere who work here.. They are just top notch and more than enough to graduate asa agood doctor
The next thing i liked is about the environment created by the mbbs field itself, the patient interaction and the patient satisfaction which is also gopd at pims
And also the culturals and other extracurricular activities aprat from studies are balanced well

Dislikes

The main thing is the distance from my home. It takes solid half an hour for the journey which is frustrating
The patient outflow in the campus is not as good as compared to other hospital and colleges in pondicherry due to its location
And the last thing i dislike about the college and the thing they have to improve is the college canteen which is as worst as something ever could experience..

Admission:

I applied to jipmer, indhira gandhi medical college and pondicherry Institute of medical sciences through my neet mark which is 530 and i got pims through my mark sice cutoff for the above two colleges were scruting more marks Yes i got rejected from other two colleges because im an general category student And my neet mark was 530. The general category mark needed to join jipmer was 628 and the general category mark required to join indhira gandhi was 580 this is the reason ingot rejected The admission process for my college is as same as other medical college the neet exam which is conducted by national testing agency

Pleasant and neat

Likes

Great atmosphere for learning and just visiting, you can litsit anywhere and study, walk all over the campus if just need a walk
Nice approachable faculties, very friendly and kind, some are even great popular ones
Good teaching methods, lot of them are very good but sometimes you gotta learn more by yourselves

Dislikes

Slighty struct management but i also fond it necessary given the degree
No students parking inside the parking, new rule implimented this year onwards
Slightly hectic schedule makes it hard for coping up

Admission:

I saw this college on the list and wanted to get in here only, this is the only private college in Pondy that is actually this vast and open to all activities, i applied for this and Manakuka Vinayagar, I got that and upgraded to this college later

Ambience which is provided by the college is very impressive as they maintain it and makes sure it is pleasing for the patients who come to visit
All the registration processes are done pretty fast and is also affordable to the people who come to visit

Dislikes

Cleanliness of the washrooms in the general medicine ward

Admission:

The college is applied for other than this college is CMC Vellore for the degree of bachelor of physiotherapy but as i had written the entrance examination and was not able to get a seat as my marks scored was low , i had found out about this college through my cousin who is studying in this college for bachelors of nursing. The admission processes were that i had to come and confirm my seat in the management quota and blovk the seat. And then I had to submit my 12th & 10th CBSE certificates along with several other certificates for the admission.

Likes

Infrastructure and management is quite good
Good canteens and food available and there is a separate place for patients attenders
Teaching and shedule planing is good and good hospital for patients

Admission:

the admission is very easy in my college because my college do less documentation during admission process my college give admission on the basis of the merit list and marks of NEET exam result. and this is the best college for MBBS
