Fests, academics ,sports , postings , canteen chitchat.

Dislikes

Sometimes I don't like the mess food and sometimes even the hostels.

Obviously to become a doctor for 250 students we have more than 50 faculty members. They are the ones who treat patients and teach us. There is both theory and practical knowledge. Every month we have exams and practical exams.

I like infrastructure of our college here.
I like sports area which is too big to play.
I like the teaching methods here in college.

I don't like many dogs in our locality here.
The hospital is not too good here, facility is not there.
I don't like the aminiticin in the hostel.

I like omc very much in Many ways it is not only in studies but also others things we often do
I started to play basketball after coming to this college
I can practice my medicine greatfully with many complicated cases

Infracture of my college is OK but I want govt to built

I am interested in science. Mbbs course is 4 years journey. Osmania medical college has excellent faculty. The total number of students In a batch is 250. The teaching method is PowerPoint presentation. We have to study really hard because the syllabus is huge.

It is very spacious and has alot of greenary even though it is situated in the middle of the city.
Infrastructure is good , our classrooms are very big,.
Very good experienced faculty. And alot of clinical exposure.

Dislikes

We have alot dogs in our college and invading our privacy.

Power of Treating people in professional.

Likes

I like my college which is verey spacious and with lot of greenery
I like the campus life. And infrastructure is good our classrooms
experienced faculty who are very friendly and teaches everything and has lot of clinical exposure.

Osmania Medical College in my words

Likes

College campus , Faculty, Friends, Teaching
Faculty are so good and teach with patience

Dislikes

Mess food is the thing I don't like much
Auditorium is so old and it's not nice

It's my interest to Study Science mainly medicine. Faculty are so good in each department HOD 3 professors 4-5 Assistant professors, Associate professors and PGs are present. Exams will be held once a month as Formative assessments and 3 internals in a year.

I love this course as it is a Nobel profession providing service. we here are 250 students divided into 4 groups and allowed teachers as such. we have fa exams every month followed by internals every 3 months and a final at the end of the year.

Pros

The college has produced highly successful doctors who are currently working in top positions in reputed hospitals like the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio and AIIMS New Delhi.
Osmania has around 10 attached hospitals. So, the patient flow is huge and diverse. There is a hospital for every subject you study in the Final year.
OSMECON and College Fest are the 2 major events of this college that help students explore their interests apart from medicine.
Osmania has some very amazing professors. One such Physiology professor established the Electrophysiology lab, the first such lab in the entire state.
Internships in Osmania General Hospital are a very rare experience because if you can take care of patients in the most resource-scarce hospitals such as Osmania, you can help patients anywhere on the globe.

Cons

Osmania lacks funding to a great extent so is behind research work in comparison to other medical colleges.
The old building of Osmania General Hospital is in ruins.
No national and international conferences, seminars, or meetings are held to improve its global image.
The hostel facilities are pathetic and the mess food is not edible.
The campus area has been reduced due to Metro rail expansion.
